Can’t comment on staff - no interaction. Self check-in and check-put process straightforward. Access was via an external staircase between bins and laundry cages. Not particularly welcoming. Overall feel was more like a Euro backpacker hostel than a 4* hotel. Reinforced by the self-serve breakfast bar circa 1970. I wasn’t brave enough to touch that. Room was basic and outdated. Inadequate lighting, missing lampshades, fly screen with holes, dodgy ceiling patch, dusty tv remote (probably due to having only DTV), kettle but no mugs/tea/coffee etc, streaky mirror, mini fridge with a lone beer - which may have been left by the previous guest? Bedding and towels were clean though, thank you. I would not re-visit, nor recommend as a 4* hotel. Promoted images are outdated and deceptive. Room 3 does not even feature; which I now understand. Please don’t allow for their guests to book without full disclosure as this may continue to damage your ratings.

Please fix the curtains in the room (broken). Could present bathroom a bit better - e.g. 2nd toilet roll, nicer shelving (the current ones are pretty worn out), door hooks... Remote on heater/split system was out of battery, please check next time before guests check in. Understood the restaurant was closed over 26-28 Dec and no breakfast was available. The 'continental breakfast option' was quite poor... we didn't eat there - no room to sit down. Perhaps just don't include it in future offerings.

Room #2, Bed & Bathroom Nicely Cleaned. Double shower Very Nice. Husband had a good sleep on the bed. No access to balcony from our verandah room, must leave & lock your room to go down the hallway to enjoy verandah. Verandah could use some love and attention, but lovely place to sit & grab some sun. Breakfast cereals, continental breakfast left in landing, not great in this day & time so we didnt eat. Very steep stairs to enter if elderly, but great if you need a night whilst travelling

The furniture was old and tired. The bathroom was fairly new but the light didn't work and the shower door didn't close properly

Lovely room but if you are looking for a quiet night, this isn’t the place to be, the music started from the downstairs restaurant at 4pm and didn’t cease until nearly 10pm which vibrated up through the floor. I hadn’t taken this into consideration when I booked.

Good room with pleasant amenities. A bit of a problem check-in, not receiving sms with instructions until after we had rung, so there was no interaction with staff

I was so disappointed with this accommodation. The room was dirty, the furniture unclean and the bathroom was terrible there were stains in the sink and toilet. The grounds around our room was messy and unkept

Stayed here overnight along the Great Victorian Rail Trail and it was lovely. The place is closed on Mondays so I received a text with all check in information etc which was easy to follow. Room was lovely, shower pressure amazing. It would be nice to have sugar for the coffee, but that's a minor issue. Takeaways a few minutes walk for dinner and overall glad I stayed here.

Staff & meal were great. Room was excellent also.

Very quaint property. Loved that breakfast was there on the landing and we could have it at whatever time we desired. Restaurant also very good.

This property just needs a new paint as it would increase the review of the stay and renavations would be advised

Great simple accommodation, perfect for an overnight stay. Linen and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfy. Late check in was a bonus as we contacted them ahead of time.

An old building, guest rooms pleasant and roomy. In-room facilities OK and included tea-making and a fridge. The inverter heater was underpowered for the size of the room and the 12foot ceilings. Staff were helpful and pleasant when available but the service desk wasn't available for much of the time. Luggage had to be carried up the old wooden fire escape at the rear. Property not suitable for oldies like me.

The gentleman who showed us to our room was lovely and friendly . It’s a beautiful old heritage building and we were lovely comfy and felt safe . Sure it could do with some attention but “ hey “ don’t we all need that at our own homes . Over all a very pleasant stay and we will return as soon as we can . Thankyou 🙂

A very lovely, cozy and welcoming hotel. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and comfy. Amazing shower pressure! Will absolutely stay again.
