The Hotel Gilbert is a gem in the heart of Vienna. The location is perfect for many famous tourist sites, but it is tucked down a quiet side street so it isn’t noisy at all. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is delightful. Comfortable rooms with plenty of amenities, helpful, and friendly staff and great food combine to make a wonderful stay. All four in our party were more than satisfied with our stay.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and we were very happy with the location, the service and the quietness this hotel provides. We stayed for 5 days in total and too bad we didn’t manage to get the free drinks they offered daily! I’ll recommend anyone visiting Vienna to stay here.

Excellent hotel, very good facilities. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Ideal location for main tourist areas. Nicely quirky! Shame the bar was closed Sunday and Monday evenings. This was our second visit and we would stay again.

Overall a great hotel in a fantastic location, which is reflected in the price.
The staff are helpful and professional.
The rooms are nice and well appointed but dont really reflect the cost of staying here. Presumably its all about its location.

Nice hotel. Street facing rooms are very noisy if you have the windows open. We stayed in April and the room was hot for sleeping. AC not available until summer months. Rooms are very small. We had two suitcases and there was no where to put them.

We had the loft with a beautiful view on the Museum Quartier and the Hofburg. The personel was ever so friendly and helpfull. The breakfast buffet was very nice ans plentyfull. Good job well done to the team of Hotel Gilbert!

Great 3-night stay. Breakfast was so good that we had to have dinner at the same restaurant too. Compliments to the chef of Flora! We also enjoyed cute, comfortable and clean sauna.

Great Stay!….perfect location, access to metro and walkable to all sights. We even had our own Christmas Market on the next block. We visited 6 Markets in Vienna and this was the best!
Front desk was extra helpful and always with a smile. Very affordable, for all we received.
Would definitely recommend and we will stay here again when we return!
