We stayed at the hotel for 8 days. We enjoyed staying there with very helpful staffs and excellent facilities. I borrowed a sea cayac almost everyday and spent very nice time with my daughter on the boat. The hotel is very far from the San Pedro city but we can use some means of transportation but it costs depending on which one you take. We were offered some tours and we took one. I strongly recommend that you should buy ingredients to cook before going to the hotel because there is just one restaurant and it is open till 9 at night. I asked the driver, whose name is Hill, to stop by a supermarket. He was so kind that he took us there and we bought a lot of foods and beverages. Our room had a full size kitchen and a refrigerator so we could keep them in. If you want to stay calmly, you should choose the sapphire beach resort!!

Good customer service.

It was convenient to scuba dive from this resort, because a local dive shop picks up divers right from the resort’s dock. Food was delicious and the accommodations were very comfortable and beautiful. Super nice staff.

Place was very accommodating. Only thing is proximity to downtown. One hour golf cart ride. But I would stay again!

Pool needs paint and advertize cable tv which they don't have only wifi. If you don't subscribe to streaming apps you got no tv. Beach is terrible, you can't swim in it, it's so far from everything you need a car or gulf cart.

Sapphire Beach Resort appears to be an excellent choice for travelers seeking a peaceful and comfortable beachfront retreat with outstanding service and amenities. While its location is a bit removed from town, this contributes to its tranquil atmosphere.

The resort staff and location are excellent. It is far enough out of town that you feel you have the whole area to yourself, which was exactly what we wanted! The resort staff is super friendly and will help you out with any questions or anything you need.

Really enjoyed our stay. Food was great onsite but not great value, our server ms Vicki was lovely. limited options nearby. Bar was great when it was open; Wilbur and Edwin were great. Pools and property were clean and meticulously maintained. Loved our single poolside room. The kitchen was well appointed and very clean. It was high sorgrass season on the beach and you’d need a bulldozer to deal with that stuff properly. Definitely rent a cart in town on your way in so you can visit some other beaches. Fishing off the dock was great. We took advantage of the bikes and kayaks on site. Staff were awesome, friendly and attentive. Overall we had a great experience. The beaches in the immediate vicinity north and south were covered in trash - definitely not the resorts fault, but someone should deal with it. The Saturday BBQ is not to be missed! It’s a very peaceful property and well kept grounds. The food is good and reasonably priced. You must have a golf cart to get anywhere as it is quite a drive to town but great for spending the day doing something away. This is a great place for relaxing, not a place if you need to stay busy.

Loved the resort. Good pool areas Rooms were clean and well maintained. Security (shout out to Marco) was fantastic. He was so helpful and always met us in the parking lot to make sure we got in okay. If you are an animal lover, there are cats and dogs to keep you company. Friendly, but well behaved. Must have golf cart to get around, but the drive is exciting and you notice something new every time! Locals appreciate a drive to or from work if you have room. Very safe.

Nice setting. Friendly staff. Gem Restaurant is excellent. Unit I was in desperately needed updates to kitchen and bath. No screens, so no listening to the ocean inside. Road to resort is in extremely poor condition.

Nice property quiet area and relaxing. Food at the restaurant was good. Seaweed on the beach was excessive and not cleaned up even though there was staff to do the job so difficult getting in and out of the water. Extremely expensive for transportation to leave the property

We enjoyed our time at the property and I personally would live there at the property. :-) The only things that drove me crazy was the grime and rust around the sink and all the mosquitos in the area. Couldn't enjoy the pool because the bugs kept on biting. You are literally attacked by them as soon as you walk out the door. Couldn't swim at the beach because of the seaweed, but there were people attempting to clean it up but you cant control the sea. Also, the location of the property is located in Mexico Rock and about 45 minutes - 1 hour on a golf cart from the water taxi in san Pedro and depending on the weather conditions. Please take that into account when going. Secret beach is about 20-30 minutes by golf cart. Please purchase food in town before coming in as there are no markets and very limited food options in the area. Overall, I would recommend if you want something quiet, secluded, and away from the hustle of the city.

The staff at this resort were very rude. And everything was about a money grab. I even had to remind the staff several times About the VIP package which included free breakfast . After having a disagreement with the front desk, employee, Lisandro, he then advised the Staff working at the dining restaurant to charge us for items that we previously were told we were included in the free breakfast package . He had the staff repeatedly come back and charges for different items after the disagreement . They claimed there was 24/7 available for assistance, but when we called for several different issues regarding our room, no one answered the phone until the next day around 10 AM. The air conditioner, and two out of three of the rooms were not working. We asked him to take a look at the toilet that would not flush, they sent a maintenance man who did not look and told us that it was fixed. We then had to ask him to go back and look at the bathroom, which then forced him to actually fix it. These people were rude and unprofessional, and I will not recommend this stay to anyone. They tried to charge my card without my permission/authorization for an activity that I told them I was not going to partaken and was simply considering it. No written contract, nothing was agreed-upon for this activity, and because they were upset that they could not make that money, they proceeded to charge my card, even after I told them no. As someone who travels quite frequently, this was not great
