We stayed at the hotel for 8 days. We enjoyed staying there with very helpful staffs and excellent facilities. I borrowed a sea cayac almost everyday and spent very nice time with my daughter on the boat. The hotel is very far from the San Pedro city but we can use some means of transportation but it costs depending on which one you take. We were offered some tours and we took one. I strongly recommend that you should buy ingredients to cook before going to the hotel because there is just one restaurant and it is open till 9 at night. I asked the driver, whose name is Hill, to stop by a supermarket. He was so kind that he took us there and we bought a lot of foods and beverages. Our room had a full size kitchen and a refrigerator so we could keep them in. If you want to stay calmly, you should choose the sapphire beach resort!!

Helpful staff, very polite security guards. They constantly checked on us and offered suggestions on activities. The food at Gems restaurant is excellent. The sargassum was a little unpleasant but nothing against Sapphire.

Very nice property.

It is definitely a long treck on a bumpy rd with a golf cart to get there. But once you're there it's a pretty nice place to unwind and get away from everything. Definitely stop by one of the supermarkets on your way out to stock up on supplies. But if you don't the restaurant has very delicious breakfast, lunch and dinners at a very reasonable price. All of the staff was very polite and helpful with anything we needed. Will most definitely stay there again on our next visit out that way.

I love that it was nice and secluded. No large crowds. But this is an older property. There's some wear and tear with the pool furniture. But overall the property was well maintained. I wish the pool bar would have been available but I understand it is considered their slow season when I was there April 14-18. Also, please know this property is about 45 minutes from the ferry, airport and most of the popular resturants.

Excellent and professional service

Tiki bar well stocked, Super helpful staff, unit decor eclectic, but very clean. Food atGem restaurant fabulous. Can walk to other locations from resort. Can take a cart anywhere from there. Get cart from town if you can, resort prices are really high. Can book excursions from resort and super helpful that way. Ask for beach front, views are awesome.

We stayed in a 2 bdrm ocean view. It was very nice. We had a golf cart and had plenty of parking. We arrived late but the staff were waiting for us and delivered our luggage to our unit.

Lovely rooms but housekeeping only goes until 10am. That said if we needed anything they sent it over immediately

The staff were perfect for the setting. Relaxed and willing to help with anything from getting water and towels to advice on local culture and booking adventures.

We enjoyed our stay at Sapphire. Our apartment was spacious & clean. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.

Although the room itself was ok, we felt a bit mislead about certain things. We arrived late after a long drive on a very bumpy road. Check in was short and no real instructions about the resort were given. The website says daily housekeeping but that didnt happened. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned half way through our stay. Then was shocked to be charged $20 US for the service, the cost wasnt the issue but all they did was take out the garbage and recycling and swapped out towels, they never restocked toliet paper, dish towels etc. The room was not clean when we arrived as we found peanuts all over the carpet when we folded up the hid-a-bed in the living room. Had we been instructed as to where to take our garbage and recycleing we would havd gladly taken care of it. Staff was nonexistent during our stay, hardly seen them and unless you went to find them they were never around. Trying to lock and unlock our room took sometimes up to 5 minutes to do as the tumblers were so rusted. We felt like the resort was very unwelcoming to non-owners. Other than a few other guests there was no interactions with people at the resort. No music playing, no atmosphere, very dull. And the bugs were horrendous! We know the resort is not to blame but you could hardly we outside unless the sun was shining, which sadly wasnt much while we were there. We will say Wilbert at the bar was the highlight of our trip. Restaurant was good.

Although 10 miles on Ambergris Caye is a long travel time, Sapphire beach Resort is worth the drive. The staff is willing to help with accommodations of flights from Belize City, transport from San Pedro to the resort, and renting a golf cart. Being away from San Pedro gives you relaxation when you want it and it is close enough to enjoy the city as well. Would visit again!

Good customer service.

It was convenient to scuba dive from this resort, because a local dive shop picks up divers right from the resort’s dock. Food was delicious and the accommodations were very comfortable and beautiful. Super nice staff.

Place was very accommodating. Only thing is proximity to downtown. One hour golf cart ride. But I would stay again!

Pool needs paint and advertize cable tv which they don't have only wifi. If you don't subscribe to streaming apps you got no tv. Beach is terrible, you can't swim in it, it's so far from everything you need a car or gulf cart.
