Unfortunately, the quality of service has noticeably declined. The reception team appeared distant and unwelcoming, conveying a sense of dissatisfaction rather than hospitality. There seemed to be a significant number of staff members in training, which may help explain the lack of coordination and polish throughout the experience. The infrastructure also feels dated. The elevators are old and unusually slow, and much of the furniture shows clear signs of wear. It is disappointing, as the hotel has lost much of the warmth and charm it once embodied. Given the current standards, I would recommend considering alternatives such as Fasano or Copacabana Palace, both of which offer a far superior level of service, comfort, and overall experience.

Serviço e atendimento impecáveis, desde a chegada até a saída do hotel. Quarto confortável e amplo, café da manhã maravilhoso e farto, área da piscina muito agradável e com uma vista deslumbrante da orla de Copacabana. Destaque para o atendimento do funcionário Veloso, sempre atencioso, ágil e simpático!

Best hotel ever

Excelente estadia por conta do atendimento prestado pela equipe do Hotel. Em especial o Augusto da recepção e o Veloso do rooftop que é a educação em pessoa. O hotel precisa de algumas manutenções, mas estão empenhados nisto. A equipe de mordomia não atendeu um pedido que havia feito e depois de ter reclamado eles o fizeram. De resto tudo muito gostoso!

Although we stayed in a busy season (new years) and prices spiked as expected it was not worth the whopping price of 9k, the staff made the experience better!

The room was spacious and clean. The location was perfect. But the stars of my trip were the staff. They were so accommodating and kind. They booked my tour for me. They arranged transportation to and from airport. They even went to the pharmacy for me when I was injured. They left little treats in the room daily: hair tie, fruit, champagne, bath salts for NYE tradition, desserts. I will only stay there when I visit Rio.

Everything about the hotel is absolutely perfect. Great view, clean and spacious room plus rooftop pool and beach amenities were great.

Love this hotel! Very clean, nice and high quality. The staff just makes the experience even better! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. To mention a few names of the people that helped me this stay on a daily basis: Rilary (at the front desk, she’s the best, give her a raise and a bonus); Ferreira, Lorenzo, Samuel, Amanda & Everton (at the rooftop, they served me on the daily, even had my preferences memorized, great service); Taisa, Elisa, & Mariana(at the spa, always so warm and helpful); and lastly Giselle (best masseuse in the house)! 10/10 recommend!
