As I've been telling friends and family, this was a 5-star experience at a 2-star motel. 2400 motel is very transparent in their advertising, it is an older motel with modest amenities. For us? It was perfect. We booked a family suite that had a full kitchen, separate bedroom with one bed, a 4-peice bathroom, and a second bed in the main 'living' space. The arrangement was ideal for my small family (2 adults, 2-year old, & puppy). The areas that could easily be updated were --new laminate flooring everywhere except kitchen and bathroom where small tiles remain; new and very clean tub and surround in the bathroom. Exceptionally clean beds --checked for bed bugs with absolutely zero signs of them.
Things they aren't able to easily update such as the wiring did mean no a/c (something they are transparent about) and limited outlets in the kitchen. Definitely not a deal breaker for us and after living in older rentals, we were used to quirks like this.
The staff were all friendly, and I believe they're a living wage employer which is pretty neat. The grounds were clean, well kept, and felt safe at all times of day.
There was even a cute welcome gift for our dog when we arrived complete with a small blanket, treats, dog poop bags/holder, toy, and collapsible dog dish.
All in all we would absolutely stay here again. Folks looking for 5-star experience and amenities should book the 5-star hotels. This motel is a great option for those who don't mind a bit more of a modest stay

オーナーは強欲そうな中国系のオバサンだが、見た感じほど悪くはない。第一印象がちょっと不愛想なだけで親切。部屋が狭いので1ベッドルームのスイートに変えてもらったが、わずかな追加料金で代えてっくれたし、色々と世話を焼いてくれていい人だった。確かに古いが、清潔で滞在は快適だった。WiFiもかなり強い。暖房がちょっと弱いかな。。。また、バンクーバーに行く予定があったら、是非、泊まりたい。

You definitely get what you pay for, $300 for two nights, a cozy little old fashioned home, nothing inherently wrong with it, but some small things could bump this rating higher, the stove looked to be pulled out of a 50’s or 60’s catalog, the burners were messed up but I let the front desk know so that shouldn’t be a problem later, the shower head was at chest height so you get to feel like buddy the elf from elf, but other than that great place

The property is old but they kept the rooms in good condition. Staff were great as well. We asked for a fan since there’s no A/C in the unit and they were bery accomodating.

Let's start by saying that it's perfectly fine - it's not fancy but it's also not nearly as expensive as other options. Don't expect 4 stars, as you shouldn't.
It's old, but it's got a clean room, clean bed, clean bathroom. My unit had a kitchenette in it which was also very convenient.
I definitely feel like the management is banking on the charm and history (it's used to film a lot of things) to justify not updating the units. There is a lot of peeling paint, older fixtures, and some stains. Not dirty, just needs to be updated.
The shower is rather small, and the water doesn't get super warm for some reason.
The biggest drawback is that there is absolutely no AC. Which is probably fine during colder months but even with the overhead fan on I was sweating most of the day. You can open the window, but there's no screen so you risk both bugs and intruders.
The staff is super friendly, responsive, and attentive.
Overall, I'd say it's a great spot for the money if you're just looking for a clean place to sleep and shower, and don't need any frills. I would probably be concerned about no AC during the summer months.

Front office staff was WONDERFUL. Very friendly and helpful.
The room was HOT with a very small desktop fan and a ceiling fan that was loose. No screen on the one window that opened.
Table top ice machine in lobby is only good for putting ice in a cup…
