最初に入った部屋のテレビが映らず、フロント係の女性に「同行の子どもがHockey Night in Canadaを楽しみにしていたんだけど・・・」と言ったところ、「それは大変！」と即座にテレビのチェックに来て、状況が改善しないことが分かると快く隣に部屋を変えてくれた。Hockey Night in Canadaにチャンネルを合わせてスタンバイしてくれたのみならず、「これでも飲みながら見てください」とコーラ２本の差入れまで。。臨機応変な気の利いたサービスは10日間の旅程の中でも印象深いことだった。朝食も良かった。あまり泊まる機会のないロケーションだが、また訪れてみたいと感じた。

The bathroom was very dirty. I don’t think it had been cleaned

Breakfast was fresh. Good parking. I would go back if needed to reserve a room again.

The beds are said to be queen on Hotels.com. They ate NOT queen!

We chose this hotel because Best Western markets itself as clean, safe, and family-friendly, with amenities like pools and breakfast. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect that standard. This is my second concerning experience with Best Western. During a previous stay at Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre, there were hazards including a protruding nail and unsafe pool conditions that led to a child being injured. This stay was worse. A staff member knocked and entered our room before I could respond while I was inside with my children and half dressed. This was a serious breach of privacy and safety. The room itself felt unsafe. The bathtub tap came off in our hands, flooring had visible gaps and uneven areas that could easily cause a fall, and electrical outlets were loose. We were moved to a second room, however the conditions were similar, indicating this was not an isolated issue. Cleanliness was unacceptable. There was thick dust throughout, and we found visible blood stains on the comforter that appeared to have been previously marked but not removed. The pool area showed clear water damage and maintenance concerns. Overall, this property appears poorly maintained, with patchwork repairs creating additional hazards. This environment is not consistent with Best Western’s values or a family-friendly brand and is hazardous to both guests and employees.

When my partner and I first walked into the room it smelled like cigarettes and chlorine other than that the rest was like any other hotel.

Yesterday the weather was terrible. Because of travel advisories to not drive, I could not go to my event. I tried to cancel my booking using chat, and was blocked from chatting. I had to forfeit the fees I paid to reserve. I am not pleased. Chris Ryan

For a plus best western we felt it was subpar. EX the furniture in the room was quite worn

They have pet friendly rooms. Their pet fee is $40/stay, which for a two day stay became $20/d. If it was $40 per day that would be unreasonable. One morning I saw another couple in the hall with their shih tsu. I'd never heard the other dog at all. I opened the door so our shih tsu could meet him. I suspect the rooms are well insulated so any dog barks don't bother anyone.

They had the breakfast essentials, eggs and either sausage or back bacon (varied by day). Of course they had the capillary flow toxic usual carbohydrates too. The Nescafe coffee machine had a variety of brews. They had decaf coffee for a Keurig. The only thing they lacked was decaf tea.

Did not use pool not working, friendly staff yes , fair breakfast

Accommodations were decent, didn’t appreciate the 4 % service + addon tax upon arrival.

I hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share my feedback regarding my experience. I found the food options to be quite disappointing, especially the limited breakfast selection. On the first day, there was only bread, butter, jam, and cereal available. The second day was particularly disappointing as there were no homemade fries offered, and I noticed the absence of any fresh fruits throughout my stay. Additionally, the toaster took an excessive amount of time to toast bread, which added to the frustration during breakfast. Furthermore, I was disappointed to find that the swimming pool was closed for most of my stay, which was one of the amenities I was looking forward to. The elevator was also quite slow, making it inconvenient to move about the hotel. Overall, my stay did not meet my expectations in relation to the price I paid. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration for future improvements.

Room was nice overall …. Besides the bathroom around the tub wasn’t clean, the caulking had mold growing around the whole tub area. ** It must’ve flooded next-door so where TV stand was there was a lot of water damage on that wall, along baseboard area that didn’t look too attractive.

Pool was closed, no vending machine on floor, only accepted credit card no debit.

The staff were great, but the hotel is a dump and literally falling apart at the seams with leaks/water damage everywhere and everything was very old and run down. Our toilet flooded our room and the toilet in our new room ran non stop. Breakfast was available but the food was stale and awful. Kitchen lady was so nice and polite though. Other than the staff, our family could not get out of there fast enough!

Very dirty and gross. The toilet paper had poop on it and the room had a stench.
