最初に入った部屋のテレビが映らず、フロント係の女性に「同行の子どもがHockey Night in Canadaを楽しみにしていたんだけど・・・」と言ったところ、「それは大変！」と即座にテレビのチェックに来て、状況が改善しないことが分かると快く隣に部屋を変えてくれた。Hockey Night in Canadaにチャンネルを合わせてスタンバイしてくれたのみならず、「これでも飲みながら見てください」とコーラ２本の差入れまで。。臨機応変な気の利いたサービスは10日間の旅程の中でも印象深いことだった。朝食も良かった。あまり泊まる機会のないロケーションだが、また訪れてみたいと感じた。

Hote incroyablement accueillant et disponible. Chambre #7 tres grande et propre. Petit dejeuner inclus continentale avec immense croissant! Coté de rue plus tranquille mais proche de tout a pied

The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel is just off the 401 so perfect for a pit stop. Our room was on the ground floor but there were stairs, if you know you will have lots of bags good idea to ask for no stairs. Someone stood outside our window smoking and yelling into their phone at 10pm. The indoor pool was surrounded by three walls of windows, so I did not try it. I think the hotel should consider having some of the glass frosted. The breakfast was good but the espresso/latte machine was broken. For type 2 diabetic, there were a lot of sugary choices. Most potatoes were gone 30 minutes into breakfast and the sausages were a bit odd, scrambled eggs were nice. We paid over $200 for the night but I would have been happier if it was more like $125. For us the stay was between 2 and 3 stars

Consciences

With the exception of the main lobby, the hotel was too warm and humid. Our room needs an upgrade. It was dark gloomy, technologically behind and humid. The air conditioner was noisy and insufficient. Breakfast was poor quality and not acceptable in a Best Western PLUS hotel.

Pool was nice great stay

The room was pretty clean. I can't complain too much for the price I paid, but you can tell the building is old and there are no modern amenities, like phone charging ports and EV parking. The pool was excellent and very warm. Breakfast was ok...however, no tea except green tea, little variety of cereal and fruit (only bananas). And the coffee machine was out of hot chocolate and when we advised them, they didn't offer to fill it right away, so I had to go without. Although, they had gluten-free options for cereal.
