I stayed for a 2 day trip with my kids. The beds were comfy, the rooms were well equipped with A/C which was well appreciated in the +40 weather we had. One complaint was that it smelt a bit like cigarette smoke but the hotel is quite older so that’s likely why. It was very convenient being able to park outside our room! The breakfast was delicious and a great variety not just continental. There were eggs, sausage, waffle maker etc. Overall, I would likely stay here again.

A buffet breakfast was included and there was a good selection of food. The hotel is minutes from a waterfront marina on foot and an adjacent Irish-style pub/restaurant offers a pleasant terrace and view of the water. The hotel is located next to a well-manicured park area and is a convenient drive to an extensive beach and waterfront park on Lake Huron. Overall, a good place to hunker down while in Sarnia.

we loved the suite - it was very useful, especially having a kitchenette and a separate sleeping area. It was our 2nd stay here, and overall it was great. The only bad thing is that when we got home, we found a bed bug had traveled with us from the hotel on one of our pillows. This was very scary for us - and we won't be going back to this location as a result of this. we are positive the bed bug came from this hotel as we had not stayed anywhere else.

The staff were friendly & room clean & comfortable. Waterfront location but view of parking lot & tanker boats block view. Front entrance/reception needs updating & lemon water nice to offer but tasted stale, everything else very good & would stay again,

The breakfast was excellent and the lovely lady working the breakfast room kept the food restocked and the room clean and tidy . Parking spaces were plentiful and no charge . Staff were very friendly and helpful . The rooms are dated but clean .

I would advise against staying at this establishment with family, particularly if you have young children. The room had a pervasive odor of marijuana and cigarettes, and the bedding also carried a smoke scent. While the shower and bathroom facilities were clean, and breakfast was satisfactory, I cannot recommend this location for families unless in an emergency situation. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. However, for extended stays, I would suggest seeking alternative accommodations.
