Clean, quiet, and very accessible

Nice hotel for 2 nights close to the mountains view and great location

The room heater was so noisy so we have to off it til morning. It was cold.

Das Zimmer an sich war sauber, jedoch sind die Möbel doch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei und auch bei den Duschen gab es nichts auszusetzen. Die Zimmertür wurde sehr in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Anscheinend wurde diese mal aufgebrochen? Parkplätze waren zum späten Nachmittag noch einige vorhanden. Lag aber wohl daran, dass es Winter war. Das Frühstück besteht aus Donuts, unbelegten Bagles, Crossaints, Muffins und Porridge. Dazu gab es Fruchtsaft im Tetrapack. Für unsere Zwecke war die Unterkunft ausreichend. Wer auf alten Charme steht und auf ein ausgiebiges Frühstück verzichten kann, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Felt like home away from home. Staff were helpful and courteous. Very good breakfast options. Most pleasant stay.

It was a nice clean room. Bed was comfortable. A small continental breakfast was included, nothing too elaborate in the offerings but enjoyable and nice snack before we started our day.

Nice place to stay

Great location with comfortable clean room

The aircondition was VERY noisy and despite of having the aircondition there was a very cold draught from the windows. Despite we were 2 people in the room there was only 1 regular duvet to share. At least offer a double duvet. The complementary breakfast was frozen bagels and chocolate chip cookies served outside the room. Don’t bother.

Friendly staff

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Having said that, there are other hotels in town also within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The worst thing about my stay apart from it being dark with dated furnishings was the breakfast. The food consisted of sad looking, dry, small croissants, cookies, packets of oatmeal and single-serving Kellog cereal boxes, one carafe of hot water and another of milk. The microwave and disposable cutlery was on the other end of the hallway (but the disposable bowls were next to the cereal - strange lay-out.) There was a Keurig coffee machine in my room, but with Van Houte capsules. I could not get the machine to work. The first receptionist I called insisted there was nothing wrong with it despite me explaining that I had tried three times, then a fourth time while she was on the phone with me. I finally gave up and left, telling her on my way out that the machine didn’t work. She just looked at me blankly. The evening receptionist was more professional and came up to my room, pointing out that my error was in not filling the water container with enough water. She filled it to the level the machine required, left, and behold, the machine made coffee but, the mugs provided were too small so the coffee overflowed. Sigh. Fortunately, there is a good cafe with scones and doughnuts a three minute walk from this hotel. There are other very good cafes also within walking distance. Would I return to this hotel? No.

Check in was efficient. Room was adequate and bed was comfortable. Room heater was noisy and not terribly efficient. Noise level changed constantly and even growled at certain points in the cycle.

The walls are very thin. Room itself was good but not interested in hearing my neighbours on both sides ‘enjoying’ one another.
