There were some issues with the room. Overall it was clean, but: 1) in the shower the showerhead had a substantial leak, so someone had draped some small towels over the showerhead. This wasn't a new issue since the ceiling above it was peeling and in need of repair 2) the television did not work. We called the front desk, who rebooted the system but he didn't stick around to see if it was working... it never did. 3) the door had to be tugged closed to ensure that it was locked. If you just closed the door normally, the lock didn't engage and anyone would be able to push on the door to gain entry.

It was fine. Certain aspects of the hotel are grungy. Needs new carpet and baseboards.

The bed had curly black hairs, we were given another right away but when looking around we noticed it was dingy and not very clean.

Good highway stop. Clean, spacious rooms. Efficient check in and check out.

Bathroom fan never worked. Bathrooms light is hanging by i dont know what. Pretty dangerous. Stayed 3 nights and no room services. Got fresh towels day 2 but that was it. I will tell all never to stay here. Kamloops has a large variety of hotels and this is a hard no.

If you have stayed at a Prestige before, this is definitely not the standard you will be expecting. Although staff is friendly and linens are clean, there are many things that made our stay substandard. The carpet trim was peeling off the wall, wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom and the main mirror was hazy and looked unclean. The main glass doors entering the property were smudged as well. All minor repairs that could easily bring the stay up a point or two. In terms of major repairs, there were signs of a previous in the bathroom ceiling and stretched/wrinkled carpet in the hallways. It is nice that they let you use the pool of their sister location (Prestige Kamloops Hotel) across the parking lot, but easy to confuse the two when booking. Having stayed at the Prestige Kamloops Hotel on a previously trip I would recommend this location over the Aberdeen any day.

Great for a one night stay. Chinese restaurant in the building had good food.

It was very clean and the service was kind and friendly.

The heating/cooling system did not work. It would not even turn on.So we found it too warm. No soap by the sink so I had to get in the tub to get soap from the dispenser to wash my hands. The room is attractive and well furnished so there are some positives.

The vent cover for the fan in the bathroom was missing. The wallpaper by the bed was peeling off the wall. The room needs attention but the service was good.

What a tremendous value! Spotless clean. Super friendly people who actually care about keeping the place up. Amazing gym and pool and hot tub. Can go between both of their properties that share the same parking lot. I can’t think of anything missed on this stay. Breakfast was a nice bonus too: bagels & cream cheese, toast and cinnamon buns, cereal, yogurt, apples and banana.
