An older hotel that was upgraded and clean. Furnishing are spartan. No closets to hang clothes. It was ok for an overnite stay. It was well priced .

建物は古い。空調の強弱ができない。清掃はまずまず行き届いていた。隣のホテルでチェックイン、チェックアウトをするが、フロントに日本人スタッフがいてチェックインのフォローをしてくれて助かった。

レイクルイーズ行きや、ゴンドラゆきのバス停が近く、またバンフ内で使える無料のロームバスのパスももらえました（レイクルイーズなどバンフ外には使えません）スーパーや多くのレストランも徒歩圏内で立地が良かったです。
フロントは隣のホテルにあり、こちらのホテルは少し閑散とした感じ。その代わりエレベーターはいつもすぐに来る。またお部屋の窓から山が見えましたので、景色もまずまず。小さいバルコニーもあります。
良くなかったところはシャワーが続けて使うと二人目で水になってしまった。やむなく三人目は翌朝にシャワーしました。（ハイクで汗かいたのに）又、コンディショナーが一泊目の二人目で切れてなくなり、翌日も補充されなかった。
ハイシーズンの利用で他のホテルと比べて割安ではありますが、二泊で三人1000ドル以上払って、このサービス？と思ってしまいました。

It's very cold at night even in summer, so I tried to heat it, but it's out of order. The response was, "Only you say you're cold." I beat the cold by changing my room to a small room with a heater. The hotel changed the room from a twin room to a single room, but it was still about $400 per night. I was surprised at the cold reception.

The reception staff were not very polite or welcoming. There was also confusion regarding the complimentary sauna. This was never explained during check-in, and when we followed the instructions in the leaflet provided with our key card, we ended up at a different sauna that wasn’t available to guests staying at Red Carpet Inn.
We also asked the front desk a couple of times about booking a taxi to Lake Louise early the next morning. We were told there was no need to pre-book and to come back when we needed it. However, when the time came, the staff were unable to arrange a taxi and offered no helpful suggestions or alternatives. Fortunately, we managed to find one ourselves.
The room also had several issues. The bathroom door would not close properly, the bed was uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi was extremely slow and unreliable.
Overall, it was a disappointing stay due to poor communication, unhelpful service, room maintenance issues, and very slow Wi-Fi. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

This definitely is an old property, you can tell by the look of it. The rooms are better than how the building looks. You can't change the temperature of the AC unit, which was set to 22 degree Celsius. It is very expensive for the value you get. I would pay a little more and get a newer hotel with better amenities.

The carpets in the hallways were old and dirty and a strong sent was used to cover up the smell. For someone like myself, strong odors are an issue with my respiratory condition. Our room for a family had only two hooks and only one chair. The bathroom door hinges were lose and the door did not close well. The entire hotel was open through-out the night with one of the side-doors left wide open and NO security or lobby staff. In fact - there is no lobby! It was inconvenient having to go over to the Irvin Hotel to talk to any staff - though the staff was great!

We were lucky to have a room on the corner with a large balcony, rooms were clean and staff was kind. However in our room the bathroom door could not close fully. We were able to park under the inn, do note taller vehicles will have a hard time going into the basement garage. Overall, not a bad place to stay for us!

The Red Carpet Inn is good value for Banff. The room was clean, spacious and well laid out. Free parking, including check-in and check-out day, and the included local transit pass were a bonus. Quality bath products from the Rocky Mountain Soap Company were included.
The only negative about the room was lack of closet, or anywhere to hang clothing or jackets. This was not an issue in the summer, but could be in winter when dealing with ski gear.
It is important to note that there is no staff on property at the Red Carpet Inn, and all services are managed through the sister property, Irwin's next door. The outside doors to the Red Carpet Inn are never locked (including doors from the back parking lot that did not even have a closing mechanism), so anyone can wander in at any time. As a solo female traveler, this is a serious safety concern, and made me quite uncomfortable.

Property was clean and staff were very helpful and prompt resolving issues of which there were few.
It is located a bit out the craziness that is now Banff but accessible to the town. The bus service stops right out front and if you stay at the Red Carpet, you get a three day base.
If we were to stay in Banff again, we would consider it as an option.
