Property is being upgraded and we can see the improvements even from our last visit. Great service at check in and we always enjoy the pool! Love the downtown location - close to family and restaurants and shops.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. But I loved the location. A few steeps from the working water front of Yarmouth. I enjoyed walking and found a seafood restaurant right on the docks. I watched the CAT ferry arrive and was able to take some great photos of it turning around. Highly Recomend

The rooms are very clean, and the beds bed’s are super cozy. The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the bay. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jason who booked us with that great room. The Rodd has a restaurant and lounge on site. Walking distance to all the shops and pubs in town. We definitely plan on visiting here again. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Convenient to the ferry terminal and clean.
The place is showing wear and tear. Torn wallpaper in the hallways (6th floor)
And the suspended ceiling in the bathroom is a bit dodgy.

I'm not quite sure why I keep going back. Let's start with the good points. The staff are always attentive, polite, courteous and efficient. We stayed in one of their larger rooms. The king bed was a little firm but still good. While the bathroom was small, expected in an old hotel, it was nice that use of the toilet did not block the door. And finally, the complimentary buffet breakfast was fantastic.
Now the disappointments. One of the curtains was too small for the window. It got very bright in the room very early. There was no clock in the room. The bathroom door had to be propped open with the bathroom garbage can. There was two LG heat pump heads in the room. They could only be used to cool the room. It was a cold sleep. The phone rang on two occasions. When it was answered, here was no one on the other end. Guest service told us they get phantom calls. They suggested we unplug the phone.
Overall, we liked our stay. It was unfortunate though, that there were little annoyances that maintenance o housekeeping could easily have rectified.

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff were extremely accommodating. When the initial room I had smelled of cigarettes, they happily got me a different room. The room was incredibly quiet and I got a great night's sleep.
The bar has 10, count them 10 dart boards! How cool is that? Bring your own darts though.
Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

Hotel was extra friendly to bikers. Staff was very friend and always helpful with any information needed, be it travel or dinning they were willing to take time to answer any questions. Hotel is located close to port of entry. Rooms were very clean. Cant say enough good things and over all my stay was awesome !

We needed a place to stay cuz our tent was flooding from the rainfall they were kind enough to give us a room we came at midnight. other than that, the beds were really comfortable the staff was really kind. The walls were pealing and the bathroom had rust on it so did the beds other than that it was a great experience.🙂

Staff is amazing. This is what we’ve seen in general in Yarmouth. Real nice people. Property was dated but the room was very clean. There was no free breakfast option and we had to buy our breakfast at hotel diner. Not a big deal but… the location is amazing. Would stay there again in a heartbeat
