Room was clean, quiet and spacious. It had everything we needed and staff were friendly at the check-in desk. We found the grounds to be very dark . My only suggestion would be to upgrade the pathway lighting for safety and to make it easier to find your room at night especially in winter when it is dark by 5:00. Lovely stay otherwise.

Welcoming staff, beautifully laid out suit with all the supplies I wanted (kitchen). Incredibly comfortable bed! Perfect location. Walkable to beach and restaurant. And even eagles sharing the property with you!

Very clean suite. As it was our first time there after spending many years at another resort on Resort Way, an upgrade would have been a nice offer, after requesting one to entice us to be long term customers and given the off-season price. But that aside, it is a beautiful place.

The room was very clean

Just a couple of things, I was coming in very late and let the front desk know but they wrote down the wrong time so didn't expect me. Eventually I did get checked in. As it was a bit chilly, I asked for maintenance to check my heat as it was not working. Looks like maintenance arrived. Nothing changed the room was still cold. I let the front desk know but all they could do is offer blankets. I'd say this was not a comfortable room.

Excellent property. The beds were really comfortable. My only negative thing to say (and it’s extremely minor and not a big deal) was that they didn’t have any decaffeinated coffee. Staff was great. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Staff was friendly, though didn’t see many. No phone to contact front desk, and no housekeeping came in. Upon arrival, we found that one coffee pod was punctured open, leftover used coffee and washing machine detergent were left in machines from previous visitors. No pillows for sofa bed … had to use a folded up towel since we didn’t want to walk to the reception building to get a pilllow. Overall cleanliness was good, and suite was nice. Well stocked with necessities. Fitness room literally felt like a sauna … we actually thought there was one in there, so use of exercise equipment was impossible.

Room was nice, bed comfortable, no real complaints other than the construction going on outside our room. Early in the morning it was loud. They should have offered to put us on other side away from the construction.

I have mobility issues and the elevator was out of service, no one offered to help with luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

Noisy mostly unsupervised kids in pool. Room in main building close too close to pool. Made for non-stop noise. No restaurant on property. Advertised as waterfront but not waterfront so is misleading. Access to water down a gravel switchback pathway to rocky beach. At high tide beach disappears so walk through water to get to steps to access pathway.

Decided to stay for my birthday trip and had an amazing time. The woom was bigger and better than i was expecting. Being as it was May long weekend, the weather was wet so it was a great added bonus of having laundry in the suite to dry my jacket!!

Quiet

The property was beautifully landscaped. Nice path to ocean . It was nice to have a kitchen and washer and dryer in suite . Location was very nice, with beach and pool access ,pool area bathrooms could have been cleaner . Rooms and General area were clean and worth the value . Staff at front desk were efficient but not overly bubby .

Nice and close to Parksville. There is no food here, you need to find something off property. The pad to access the parking area is hard to find in the dark and there was nothing lit around it. Very beautiful property, and excellent for star viewing near the beach.

The location is on the beach. There is not much that is within walking distance for restaurants and shops. It is a short drive to the downtown and to Qualicum Beach and to the market in Coombs. The resort is new so it is clean. The gym doesn’t open until 7:00. Coffee was sometimes ready at 6:00 but it depends on the staff. The washer an dryer in our suite was very convenient. It’s good for families with kids.

Family of 4 had an amazing trip kitchen was all you need and the pool was a massive hit for the kids. Walk to the beach was super easy and at low tide endless fun at the beachnin the tide pools. We will be back
