Staff was nice and the showers were warm. Recommend bringing your own media if you want to watch streaming services.

I've stayed here in 2012, 2023 and most recently last week (October 2025). Between 2012 and 2023, the price only changed $5 to $10. However, between 2023 and 2025, it has gone up $50 per night, a steep increase. While some cosmetic changes have been made to make it look more modern, the actual changes needed to command a $50 increase have not happened. The ceiling paint was peeling in the bathroom, and the toilet is leaking beneath the floor, causing disgusting colouration and looking in need of desperate repair. However, the staff were very friendly and the food is great. Definitely recommend the mozza sticks as an appetizer.

Dated, but in good repair. Clean and the mattress and pillows were in good condition. Restaurant is our 7-9, we came in at 8.45 and were still able to get some items that didn't need the grill. On the ground floor, the room above was about around midnight. The noise wouldn't have been so annoying earlier. Left the next morning around 7 so i can't answer for breakfast. Pretty decent considering it's the main fair in a community of 55 people.

No carpet was nice. Very clean, hot water, convenience of microwave and fridge in the room, even cable tv. Pleasant surprise of accommodations in Destruction Bay s desolate area. Would stay there again.

The staff was courteous and kind. Breakfast took a long time. We ordered at 7:20 a.m. and did not receive our food until 8:00. A.m.. probably best to not expect a quick meal at the same time as everyone else at 7:00. A.m..

Safe quiet room to rest, late check in was easy. Woke to beautiful views the next day.

Nice motel for a quick overnight stay from a long drive. We got in really late in the morning and had to call the staff for room check in. Overall good stay for a quick sleep. Room is clean.

Talbot Arms is a run down motel. Our room had dirty walls and a broken window. Light switch plates were dirty and lamp shades were dusty. The head of the bed had a layer of dust. I can not recommend this motel to others.

It's really the only place in this area. Staff was great and it was a good place to lay our head for the night.

Old run down beds terrible

Great location and great staff. Very accommodating.

No amenities whatsoever no microwave no coffee maker no refrigerator. Minimal bed covers lump bed, old pillows. Very unsatisfactory.
