Nice spacious room. Sure missed having a coffee pot in my room. We had a good dinner at the restaurant with beautiful views.

Very dated and not maintained very well at all. Reserved and paid for a double but when I got there, they only had queen available. No cable tv. Stains all over the bathroom floor and the room smelled like a wet dog. Polyester bedding and the sheets weren’t even white, very dingy grey.

Room is old but clean, although the bedding was dusty. No A/C, but I didn’t need it. Internet access is not very good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I gave it a 4 because considering there was no other choice to stay, it pretty much had everything we needed. The floor wasn't that clean and the heater/AC didn't work. It was too hot all night. We had to slam the door to get it to close. The pillows were flat. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. There was a restaurant on site and the food was fresh and good.

Do yourself a favor and stay at Talbot Arm Hotel! The rooms are very clean, the restaurant served really good homemade food, and views of the mountains and Kluane Lake are amazing. This is definitely my favorite stop along the Alcan, and a much better price and ambiance than anything in Tok or other AlCAN stop. I would even come here as a basecamp and stay for a while to explore Kluane national park.

Thankful for a place to stay for the night however, the motel could use some major updates. The motel looks old, dated and falling apart. No pride in ownership. Major Updates would justify a price increase on the nightly room rates. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Don’t be fooled by the well worn appearance… decent food, clean and comfortable rooms, and very friendly staff. Perfect place to rest in the middle of nowhere.

I stayed here for two nights, though spiritually it felt like I never left… and possibly never will. Let’s start with the walls—if you can call them that. “Walls” suggests separation, privacy, a gentle boundary between you and the outside world. These were more like *suggestions*. I could hear everything: conversations, coughs, a man softly whispering “no, not again” at 3:12 a.m. At one point I’m fairly certain someone in the next room sneezed and I instinctively said “bless you”… and they said “thank you.” We never met. I wish we had. Now, the shower. Oh, the shower. Imagine being pressure-washed by a well-meaning ghost who’s slightly angry at your pores. The water pressure was so intense it didn’t just rinse off the day—it removed a layer of identity. I came out cleaner, yes, but also unsure of who I was before I stepped in. Five stars for exfoliation, mild concern for structural integrity of skin. The room itself had a charmingly aged vibe, like it had seen things. The cracked walls weren’t just cosmetic—they felt… intentional. Like the building was trying to remember something and almost succeeding. I spent a good hour staring at one particularly long crack that looked like a map of somewhere I shouldn’t go. It seemed longer at night. And yet—*the staff*. Absolute angels. Warm, welcoming, genuinely kind. The kind of people who smile at you in a way that says, “Yes, we know. We’re so sorry. Please enjoy your stay anyway.” If this place is haunted (and I’m not saying it

Staff was nice and the showers were warm. Recommend bringing your own media if you want to watch streaming services.

I've stayed here in 2012, 2023 and most recently last week (October 2025). Between 2012 and 2023, the price only changed $5 to $10. However, between 2023 and 2025, it has gone up $50 per night, a steep increase. While some cosmetic changes have been made to make it look more modern, the actual changes needed to command a $50 increase have not happened. The ceiling paint was peeling in the bathroom, and the toilet is leaking beneath the floor, causing disgusting colouration and looking in need of desperate repair. However, the staff were very friendly and the food is great. Definitely recommend the mozza sticks as an appetizer.

Dated, but in good repair. Clean and the mattress and pillows were in good condition. Restaurant is our 7-9, we came in at 8.45 and were still able to get some items that didn't need the grill. On the ground floor, the room above was about around midnight. The noise wouldn't have been so annoying earlier. Left the next morning around 7 so i can't answer for breakfast. Pretty decent considering it's the main fair in a community of 55 people.

No carpet was nice. Very clean, hot water, convenience of microwave and fridge in the room, even cable tv. Pleasant surprise of accommodations in Destruction Bay s desolate area. Would stay there again.

The staff was courteous and kind. Breakfast took a long time. We ordered at 7:20 a.m. and did not receive our food until 8:00. A.m.. probably best to not expect a quick meal at the same time as everyone else at 7:00. A.m..

Safe quiet room to rest, late check in was easy. Woke to beautiful views the next day.
