We enjoyed our stay with a lovely kitchen that helps us for some cooking when feeling a little bit tired having dinner outside. Pressure of water flow in a shower room need to be improved.

First time staying there and the suite was even better in real life than the pictures. Great location, friendly staff, some nice amenities.

The hotel was a nice place to stay. The view from my room was excellent.the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from down town Victoria. I had no complaints staying at this hotel.

Hotel suite was a good size and well equipped. Keurig and kettle were used each morning. Front desk staff were helpful for directions and restaurants. Nice to have the underground parking. Location made everything walkable. Walked to Fisherman’s wharf, Legislature buildings and Government Street. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

the room was great. All the staff very welcoming. Although the restaurant is not part of the hotel, the food and drinks were wonderful. As was all the staff.

This is a lovely hotel to stay at. There's a very good restaurant ( with a nice patio) on the main floor and there are other amenities such as a small library room, fitness centre. It's located just off the main tourist street, so guests can enjoy a quiet, leafy residential area, yet still be in a central location for all of the sights.

The absolute perfect stay in Victoria

Front check in staff was very professional and respectful. Hotel is in a great location and our room was absolutely splendid. In house restaurant was mediocre in my opinion.

It would be great if there was electricity in the bike cage to charge electric bikes overnight

Bathroom location was not handy for older people who have to go in the middle of the night!

This property does not, The 21st century, provide AC in rooms. The rooms feature tall windows facing the sun and you can guess the rest. Too hot already in May for comfort. And, while the windows are openable - ZERO screens! If cool rooms are a preferred feature - best avoid this place in the spring summer and early fall.

Room was clean and amazing would stay here again!

Stayed with my sibling in a basic studio room with a single bed. Homestyle comfort with a dishwasher, stovetop to cook on, and other kitchen appliances available in the room. Bathroom had a standing shower AND a deep tub for baths (I'm 5'11" and 250 lbs so this was very exciting for me as bathtubs don't fit me most of the time lol). Note: the water flow was low so may take a long time to actually fill the tub. I didn't end up using it for this reason. There weren't any of those travel size products that hotels often have, but the shower came equipped with options of shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. These soaps and the hand soap at the sink all had a fragrance (for those who are sensitive), and it was a pleasant one with. Our room was hot but the balcony (a real treat to have) allowed us to let some cooling fresh air in. There was also an oscillating standing fan in the closet that helped speed the process up. No A/C, period. Staff were friendly, responsive, and aided in an easeful check-in process. The ambiance and decor is earthy and enchanting, with a touch of whimsy. Underground parking is available for $23/night (at the time of writing). Overall, an excellent experience for a relatively reasonable cost. I would stay here again.

I absolutely love staying here when I’m in Victoria. The location is fantastic, the rooms are modern, spacious, incredibly clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Every staff member is so helpful and accommodating, they really do bend over backwards to make your stay amazing. The restaurant is great too, and the servers are wonderful. Truly love everything about this hotel

Great hotel excellent location roomy comfortable bed friendly staff will come back again

Excellent and friendly staff. Got there about an hour earlier in check in and room wasn’t ready, but allowed me access to the parking garage so I could at least ditch my car and wait for the rest of my party to arrive. Within the 10 minutes it took for my full party to arrive, our room was ready and we were allowed to check in early. Rooms were clean and fantastic. We didn’t do any room service, but gave ample coffee resupply when asked at the front desk 👌
