メトロ、ストリートカーのどちらにも近く、移動するのに便利なロケーションです。ユニオン駅からもそう遠くないので、徒歩でも行けます。ダウンタウンに位置するため、まわりもお店が多く便利でした。客室はリノベーションされているようで、清潔さは問題ありませんが、カーテンやベッドリネンがだいぶ古いようで、年季の入った劇場の衣装部屋のような匂いがしました。

階下のジャズライブの音はそんなに気になりません。駅からも歩けますし施設内容も含め特に困ることはありません。予想より快適でした。

17:00~22:00くらいまで、下のフロアの演奏が聞こえるので、この時間に寝る場合は少しうるさいかもしれない。

清掃はきれいに保たれていた。 3階のためジャズの騒音はそこまででもなかった。冷蔵庫、セキュリティーボックスは無かった。スタッフはフレンドリーだった。

風呂無（共用）・トイレ無（共用）。 エレベーター無。 セフティーボックス・冷蔵庫無。 こういう所に宿泊したことがないので ビックリしました。 でも雰囲気はいいし、 場所は便利な処でした。

Bathtub and toilet were shared. The only amenity was gel for washing hands. Breakfast was listed as simple, but when I asked at the restaurant on the first floor (where jazz performances are held at night), I was told that there was something to order from the menu, which I did. Breakfast is served at 9:30 AM. It is true that I booked the room because it was cheap compared to the surrounding price quotes, but I still paid $145 per night. If I had known from the beginning, I would not have booked it. Is it the cost of the land since it is in a good location? I think the reception and cleaning staff work normally and the common restrooms and bathrooms are well cleaned. The rooms have double-paned windows, but it was November-December and cold was the response. I didn't notice that the heater in the room was set to 18 degrees Celsius at first, and shivered under a thin quilt. The next day I changed the setting to 26 degrees, which seemed to improve things somewhat. The rooms could do without cleaning, but it was a hassle to deal with when I needed new towels only. Overall, I would not use the hotel for overnight stays in the future. You can consider it impossible to work in the room when you are here on a business trip.

隣の水回りの音、通路での足音が響くが立地は問題ない

Pro: The place is close to city center and train station, well cleaned. Con: My room facing one of the main street is rather noisy. The wifi is jammed in the evening. The place is quite small.

clean and comfortable room. pleasant decor. helpful staff. walking distance from a bunch of tourist attractions. jazz was a bit loud in the evening.

I’ve stayed at the Rex Hotel a few times now and it’s always a really smooth check-in with friendly staff. The rooms are always clean and it’s the perfect location downtown Toronto.

It's an interesting and eccletic hotel in an amazing area. The staff, location and jazz were amazing. The room was basic, but comfortable. We were there to enjoy Toronto, and the price was perfect for that. Would recommend.

Old hotel but spotlessly clean. Staff were great. Bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. No elevator. Srayed two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Outstanding location.

This was a handy little hotel in the heart of Toronto. The room was clean but rather no frills. The only issue we had was the sliding door to the bathroom was difficult to close, which we reported on our way out. We were very satisfied with the room for the price.

All was OK. Best thing was the vicinity to Jazz and Blues music. If you dont like the music. Dont stay here. The beat is heard in the room until midnight whn they stop playing. I enjayed my stay.

I booked the room late in the evening and didn’t spot that it was a shared bathroom. However, there was a sink in the room, a toilet a few doors down the corridor and the second toilet/shower room was a few doors further on. The shower room was clean and fully stocked. The shower itself was one of the best I have experienced. So we were very happy with the accommodation. The hotel location is excellent, a few minutes walk from everything. The hotel is home to a great jazz/blues club and there was no noise audible in our room, my wife and I slept very well both nights. The food in the club/bar is very good and well priced, so much so that on the second evening we ate in the club and stayed for the music. The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Rex to visitors.

Staff were lovely and helped us get bags upstairs. Location is great for getting to different districts. Rooms are basic in nature but it was perfect for us. Bathroom cleanliness could have been better. Bit of mold and multiple hairs on toilet. We would stay here again!! The pros outweigh the cons hence us giving 5*

Nice room. Could have used a comfortable chair. I wish breakfast started 90 min. earlier. The staff was excellent in every way. Location was perfect.
