Amazing boutique suites and location!

Clean suite with appropriate amenities to cook your own meals. Location is great a little noisy if you are facing the alley. Internet for our room was a little slow.. Could have used some wash cloths and kitchen towels otherwise was wonderful

Great central location. Comfortable set up with everything needed. Clear Communication and self access to the unit made things very easy.

The kitchen was fully equipped. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.. Laundry in unit did not work, but we were allowed to use building facilities

The suite was not cleaned at check in. The owner was heard telling a cleaning company to just wipe down the suite eve. When cleaner was standing before me telling owner that the suite was stained and needed proper clean. I over heard this exchange. I then called the owner shocked by this unprofessional and unacceptable condition. I was then assured I would be given a 15% discount for the eventual 2 hour delay of entry. What bothered me was that the owner was just telling cleaner not to do the thorough clean just a wipe down. I expressed that I was not happy to have that condition be acceptable. Owner just blamed the cleaner for cleaning a different suite instead of mine. This was not my problem and was then assured I would get 15% discount. Upon check out I contacted owner as to when the discount would be applied to my credit card. I was assured by end of business day. I have checked each day. No discount was ever supplied. Extremely unimpressed by the owner’s unproffessionslism.

Loved the location and the flat. Decor was chic and cozy. I couldn't get the washing machine to start after a muddy hike. Also wish there was a couch instead of single chairs to sit in.

I hesitated to write this review because part of me wants to keep Waddington Flats a hidden gem, but it truly deserves to be recognized. Tucked into the heart of old Victoria, Waddington Flats offers a genuinely special experience. The surrounding streets, especially around Waddington Alley, carry some of the oldest stories in Canada, and there is a distinct sense of history and energy you can feel the moment you step outside. Having worked in Victoria’s tourism and hospitality industry for many years, I have experienced the city from every angle. Now that I no longer live on the island, I am more intentional about where I stay when I return, and this location could not be better. Bastion Square is just steps away, Market Square is nearby, and Chinatown, including Fan Tan Alley, is right around the corner. The Empress and the Parliament buildings are also an easy walk, even in less than ideal weather. One of my favourite experiences was catching a water taxi from the Old Town dock over to Fisherman’s Wharf. It is an absolute must for any visit, with oysters and fish and chips that are some of the best the city has to offer. The accommodations themselves were just as impressive. The suite was thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable. Travelling with a baby, we especially appreciated the low pull out bed, which worked perfectly for safe and easy sleeping. The upstairs bed was equally comfortable, and the rooftop patio access at the end of it was a standout feature.

We were happy we had access to laundry and the kitchen, but didn’t end up using either. Took advantage of great restaurants within walking distance as we only stayed the weekend. Weather played in our favour, and we didn’t need to use the laundry.

Very convenient location and private. Alleyway noise could be an issue for some, but we didn't mind. It made it feel like true city living! The unit was clean and provided all the amenities we needed. The communication was friendly and reliable. We enjoyed walking around the surrounding blocks that had interesting shops and dining to explore!

The apartment was wonderful with a well-equipped kitchen and excellent, walkable location. Unfortunately, a nearby nightclub played loud music overnight and into the early morning hours - on a Monday night (non-holiday). That is out of the unit owners control of course, but visitors should be aware and prepare accordingly (ear plugs/white noise machine … etc.)

Great location, feels secure. Lots of shopping and food options nearby. Close to running paths and the waterfront. I love staying here.

We loved the view, room layout and amenities, and the location was fantastic. So easy to walk to everything downtown.

We had a good stay! Location was Superb! Host even allowed us to check in early since the suite is already available. The suite is very clean and everything you need is there. We will definitely recommend and come back. Thank you 😊

Place was neat and tidy.

We had a wonderful time at Waddington Flats. The flat was well equipped, centrally located, very clean and the roof top patio off the bedroom was a big plus with nice view of the harbour. We would highly recommend the flat for short or long term stays. The location is a short walk to shopping, points of interest, transit bus stops and city indoor parking.

Chinese theme room was available for the four days I needed accommodation and was good. Easy online check in with codes provided. Nearby parking in Yates Parkade was fine. Would have liked more comfortable seating to relax in suite at end of day.

it was great!! love the Location, the decore was super fun, and amenities were great. would stay here again for sure.
