Parking was secure but a bit of a pain to get to

⭐️⭐️ 2/5 – Great location and staff, but the hotel itself is very run down and the “pool” advertised no longer exists, they have access to a pool a 10-minute walk away. My family and I stayed here for 6 nights because we wanted a hotel close to the beach with a pool. Unfortunately, the photos on Expedia did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Right in the center of town near restaurants, shops, bakeries, and a short walk to the beach. We always felt safe walking around. Staff: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The front desk staff were extremely kind and helpful. They quickly brought us extra towels, fixed our shower head, and even carried a mini fridge up to our room. Rooms/Property: ⭐⭐ The building and rooms felt very run down with broken fixtures, dirty walls, and general wear and tear. Amenities: ⭐ The pool pictured doesn’t exist and the pool you have access to is **not onsite** as advertised—it’s about a 10-minute walk away and appeared to be under maintenance during our stay, so we never used it. The “free breakfast” is also offsite across the street with very limited options. Overall: The staff and location were great, but if I had known the true condition of the property and that the pool wasn’t actually onsite, I would have chosen to spend a little more for a nicer hotel.

This listing is misleading. The hotel is pretty run down. The pool and "beach club" were not available - they told us the pool was not working. There is a fridge in the room but there is no coffee pot or teapot. It's a very basic hotel. More like a motel. It is 2 blocks from the beach. They do not have a restaurant - they give you a wristband to get breakfast at a restaurant across the street and it was not good. We would not stay here again. Also the young girl at the front desk was not very knowledgeable and could use more training.

Room, amenities.

We were told there would be a refrigerator in the room. There was none. The front dest located one for us. We followed the instructions in to use the safe. There were 2 identical laminated safe operation instructions in the room. It didn’t work at all. We went to the front desk to ask for help. The woman said that we needed to use a key. She didn’t give us one so we thought we would try the room key. Of course, that didn’t work. Went back to the front desk for help with the safe and she looked for, and gave us the key. This one worked. Makes you wonder why she didn’t give us the key the first time we went down to ask for help with the safe. I pulled back the covers on my bed and there was a rip in my sheet. During the night, we heard a loud noise and then we had no water for the night. When it finally came back on in the morning there was no hot water. A picture on the wall between the two beds literally fell off the wall while no one was near it. This room was so bad that we left a day early and filed a claim with my travel insurance because the room was certainly not as described. It was awful.

Beds were good. 2 queens. Bathroom kind of old and shower could be better but it was very ok. No noise no problems at all.

La chambre était négligée. La douche ne fonctionnait à peu près pas. Pas d’eau chaude les robinets c’est pas fonctionnel ainsi que la toilette était pas fonctionnel fallait fermer le robinet d’eau à la base de la toilette pas accès au coffre fort toutes les connexions pour la télé étaient défaite. Pas de TV. Pas agréable comme séjour.

La propreté et la mise à jour des espaces. De plus, nous avons spécialement réservé l'hotel par e que nous avons un jeune enfant et que la piscine est très importante, mais elle ne fonctionne pas en ce moment. Il aurait été important de le savoir à l'avance. Nous aurions changé d'hotel. Les taies d'oreillers sont tachées, il manque des ampoules, les rideaux tombent. etc. Atroce

No Hot water, No Pool, No Breakfast Buffet Old worn down and had ants inside the bathroom at all times

we had to move rooms 3 times. the sheets were not washed and were covered in dirt and red blood, along with ants in the first room. the second room smelled of extremely toxic chemicals. we could barely breathe. when we asked the check in guy to come to the room to see what the smell was, he looked in the closet and told us there was a pesticide puck for bugs in the closet. The third room was ok but was dirty. also, there is a night club directly across the street that is very loud, and the music plays quite late.

Clean the dead bugs in the room and secured parking was shady but had no problem other than being blocked in after we checked out.

Everything was bad

door handle and lock loose, very noisy. dirty mattress, sticky floors, and they weren’t able to print a receipt for me when i checked out.

Needs to clean the rooms and a major upgrade

Found used ear plugs in the sheets which tells me the sheets hadnt been changed after past customers used them. Music blared outside until 2 a.m. making it difficult to sleep. No hot water.

Service bien Frigo non branché, il y avait de la moisissure à l’intérieur on a donc pas pu l’utiliser. Débarbouillette sale laissé sur le plancher de la salle de bain. Juste en face il y a un night club et la musique ou band live y jouent jusqu’à minuit, c’est très très fort, il faut amener des bouchons absolument autrement on ne dort pas.

Staff was nice. The room has a lot of spider webs especially in the bathroom. That’s an easy fix other than that it was simply ok.

The room was dinghy and neglected. The shower barely worked, the TV did not work, the wifi did not work, the view from the front door was a rusted roof over a rough street scene. The staff was not friendly, helpful or really hardly present. This room might have been appropriately priced at $25 for the extreme low budget traveler who just needed a bed, toilet and a (sort of) shower… the topper, the room was a complete buzzkill for any romantic physicality my wife and I had in mind.
