Wir waren nur eine Nacht da. Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Frühstück war super. Das Schwimmbad auch.

The staff was helpful, professional and friendly. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, the convenient location to the airport and the delicious breakfast.

Maravilloso trato de la gente del hotel y las instalaciones espectaculares, obvio es de descanso y por eso no hay tv en habitaciones, nos tocó mala suerte de horario de llegada y el tráfico fue intenso, pero 100% recomendable

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Staff were easy to deal with and very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Location worked well for our purposes. Breakfast was good and quickly served. Property was well cared for and clean.

Overall wonderful stay at San Ignacio. This was my third or fourth time staying at the hotel and all stays have been excellent!

Our first night was ok. The AC unit didn't work very well but it stayed cool enough to sleep. The 2nd night however was not good. The AC unit stopped working all together. Went down to reception and they brought up a small air cooler but it wasn't working either and the maintenance guy said he was going to tell his boss what was going on and would be back. After 30 min he never returned. I went down and talked to security and the security guy told me that the maintenance guy had told him if I come looking for him to let him know that he had done all he could that we just needed to report it in the morning. That didn't help that night when the room was. 86°. Fahrenheit and no AC. What really set me off was the guy saying he was going to talk to his boss and would be back and then just leaving because it was time for him to leave and not even bothering to come back to tell us anything just left us sitting there. That's unacceptable.

Wonderful gardens for wildlife and lovely swimming pool

We booked here at the last minute because of a delayed flight causing us to miss HOU connection and arriving in SJO ten hours late. This property is very secure, and the restaurant meal we had was delicious (caught them just before closing). The restaurant and other staff we met were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived at night and left early in the morning so can't say much about the amenities as we were only onsight long enough to sleep and try to get back on our original itinerary.

Parking was safe. We got there after dark and they were very helpful in guiding us to the right place and room. We even made it to the restaurant right before closing and had a great meal. Very friendly staff and beautiful property..

The premises are gorgeous and the food at the restaurant is very good. You can hear many different birds while you have breakfast or go for a walk
