２回目の利用です。 坂の途中にあるので上り下りは必要ですが、駅近で中心部へも直ぐです。建物は古く、電子キーみたいなものは無いけど、ちょうど他の部屋のリノベーションをやっていたり、しっかりと管理している印象です。バス・トイレは普通に清潔でした。 朝食はビュッフェ形式で、お腹いっぱい食べられます。総じてコスパの良いホテルと思います。

I booked three of my engineers into Abbey Lodge Hotel for a one-night stay, and the conditions were appalling. There was no hot water, both the towels and the room smelt strongly of mould, and the shower was rusted and heavily covered in limescale. The overall standard of cleanliness was completely unacceptable and raised serious hygiene concerns. I have genuinely seen homeless shelters maintained to a cleaner and safer standard. In my opinion, the property requires urgent inspection and should not be accepting paying guests in this condition. I would never send my employees there again and cannot recommend it.

Friendly helpful staff and convenient car park. The room was poorly maintained and exceptionally hot. External noise was atrocious with other hotel residents sitting on the benches outside the entrance, drinking, shouting, singing and swearing until early hours. There was also floodlights pointing up into the bedroom windows leaving the room in near daylight even with the thin roller blind drawn. Yes it’s cheap but a very poor nights sleep caused by factors well within the hotels control.

I booked this place because we desperately needed somewhere to stay for easy travel to Wembley. I was a bit uncertain about the reviews but honestly this place is fine. It's not incredible, but the staff were genuinely really nice and friendly, it's an easy 5-10 min walk from the train station, the rooms are run down and not that aesthetically pleasing but we found the bed wasn't too bad, and it was clean. Noise carries between rooms but even though the hotel was full we got good sleep. It felt a bit like staying in a university halls room. I was grateful to have found somewhere so cheap, and I don't regret it. You get what you pay for. Free breakfast (we gave it a miss), free parking, no faff, I think it's a bargain really if you just need somewhere to sleep. Don't go in expecting the ritz! Most importantly as a female traveller I felt safe there, that's the most important thing. I think these guys have been misrepresented a bit in the reviews. I got the sense they are really trying. And without them, I'd have missed my concert!

Absolutely terrible place is dirty old breakfast disgusting the whole place is a dive?

Yeah, I was a bit dirty when the shower was broke . I’ll stay at this hotel from a four years old enough working in London since I’ve changed management the Alto was declined. The breakfast is awful. Bacon wasn’t even cooked. I won’t be staying here again.

Parking is good but the rest facilities needs improvement, in special staff service, I require cleaning room for second day and girl from reception ignoring my request.

Bathroom and bed were very clean all in very happy

Nice and spacious room, comfy beds, very helpful staff. Just what we were looking for one night. Probably I will said a little improve on cleaning the doors and a few other areas but it doesn’t affect the good night sleep and relax.

We booked this out of necessity rather than choice. We knew it was going to be less than ideal, but my god I didn't expect to see discarded needles outside my window. This is not the cheapest place either! We booked a double but ended up with a small double bed which isn't great as we're not small people. We managed and the bed was surprisingly comfy, but I daren't lift the sheets as I didn't know what I'd find. There was already dog hair in the bathroom when we got there, the walls were marked, furniture worn and flooring scruffy. Probably one of the worst hotels I've been to.

The hotel was very close to the centre & to the station. Unfortunately the room was very hot. No air conditioning. Staff were very friendly. Never had breakfast as I had to leave early, although I could have helped myself as it was a continental breakfast but was not allowed to do this.

This is a lower cost hotel - would describe it as 'quirky' I arrived late and parking was full - think the hotel was unusually full The bedroom was OK - the bed a little hard, the light fitting by the bed a bit damaged, but the shower worked and the bedding was clean The breakfast area was a bit cramped with mis-matched chairs, mis-matched crockery, very 'do it yourself' with white sliced bread still in the bag by the toaster. cornflakes, coffee and orange juice - bacon rolls seems to be the preferred option for a regulars Seemed like with a bit of investment and imagination it could be a nice hotel

Suited our needs as a stop over after Wembley. Would book here again

Breakfast is good

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!. Parking available was ok, poorly maintained, hotel front door rotten, I had a deluxe room goodness knows what a standard room was like , the water ran out half way through having a shower. Noisy Water Booster pump running on and off throughout the night. Shouting and arguing from adjacent rooms. Went for the included breakfast, only to find if you wanted a tea you needed to boil a kettle, if there’s any water, coffee I had to wait for and find a clean cup, long life pastry in a bag, and the hot offering was sweaty bacon, that’s it just bacon ! , although there was 3 cereals in those dispensers , not sure were the milk was, possibly in the below counter fridge with someone’s Indian meal for 1 or a sandwich. Consider the above as nit picking if want, but in my room had a portable oil filled radiator, with a completely burnt out dangerous to life plug, with a portable appliance test label dated 2014, considering the recommended interval is 12-24 months. How on earth this hotel exists is beyond belief, there can’t be any repeat customers, especially when I booked my additional night in a very well known chain called Travelodge, you may of heard of them , was £18 a night cheaper!!

Clean warm room. Friendly helpful staff. Parking at the back. Close to town.
