The breakfast was great. The location was close and accessible to everything. The staff was very nice and friendly. The pool was great and heated and indoor. The sauna and steam rooms were awesome. The gym was nice. I would recommend staying here.

Easy to check in, helpful staff. Good parking available. Only downside was my room was located next to the bar/restaurant on the second floor i think so very noisy until late. The room itself was fab

The room was lovely, clean and spacious. Great blackout blinds. Beds comfortable. No streaming services available on the tv, but apparently they are upgrading. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and with ability to order poached eggs etc. The swimming pool is small but nice. They have a sauna (not particularly warm) and the steam room was not working. Apparently you need to ask for them to heat it up 1/2 hour before (but I also stayed three weeks prior and it was not working then either). We stayed on a Friday to Saturday - they had swimming classes for young children between 4-6pm. This meant the swimming area was noisy and parents were hovering around with their outdoor shoes on - some rude when we tried to use the pool showers. It was therefore very crowded and uncomfortable to move around as the space is so small. Who thinks a hotel should have swimming classes on a Friday afternoon and that guests who pay for the room and the facilities won’t mind? No information was given about this in advance or at check-in. We booked the hotel specifically because it had a pool, sauna and steam room. It’s a shame because the facilities are nice and could be very relaxing.

Reception staff were very good and helpful. Unfortunately the room we were allocated wasn’t what we expected. When I booked the accommodation the impression I got was there would be a walk in shower but found to have a bath tub. Was immensely disappointed to find that. My wife struggled to get in and out with her limited mobility. The receptionist said that rooms with two double beds had a tub and not a walk in shower. The photos on your website need correcting. The breakfast at £17.50 wasn’t really value for money. Items were not replaced as one would expect. We had to tell the staff that dishes were empty, bread needed refilling and generally not a pleasant experience. Had better breakfast at other hotels which were in fact a lot less money. Apart from the bathtub, everything was fine. Other hotel facilities were good. Swimming pool was fine except there was swimming class going which meant one third of the pool was taken up. With 10/12 people in the pool, it seemed a bit congested. Overall it was ok. Our main reason for staying at Aloft was the close proximity to Excel. I am not sure whether the hotel is good value for money. I have stayed at Marriott hotels and they have much better.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. I'm sorry I don't remember the lovely lady's name but she made parking for 3 days complimentary, which was a fantastic gesture of good will. The room was great, the bed very very comf

Great room with a nice view, helpful staff, especially the manager, Kay. The breakfast was good, with various foods to choose from.

Séjour très correct, mais gros problème concernant la caution. Cela fait plusieurs relances et je n’ai toujours pas récupéré les 100£, malgré des délais annoncés qui ne sont pas respectés. À prendre en compte avant de réserver.

All good, 2nd time staying and asked for a quiet room again and was given exactly that, good location for "that end" of ExCel
