Short but sweet stay - room was excellent , dog loved it. Evening meal was a pleasant surprise - really well cooked and not ping food - Paella was excellent.

Clean room, good facilities and location. Breakfast a little disappointing

Great place! Very friendly staff, excellent restaurant, and lots of great hiking tails nearby.

Sufficient parking for all guests, decent restaurant on site, including coffee & cake lounge for guests, however no gym.

Great location with amazing walks. Good price. Restaurant was excellent, not too expensive. For a budget priced hotel, this was superb. Very comfortable room with all the essentials supplied. Highly recommend

Used as a base for a couple of days hiking, really impressed by the hotel - the facilities were excellent. Large room well equipped room with a coffee machine, bike hire, complimentary sweet treats and coffee in the afternoon (which were delicious). Already booking our next stay!

Niall and his team were exceptional as always. Love staying at this hotel whether it’s for business or recreation.

We had a lovely stay here, nice breakfast included, 5 minute drive from Hope and easy access to lots of walking routes.

Great location with easy access to surrounding towns and hikes with bus stop right outside. Good breakfast options to fuel up before heading out for the day. Very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Nice sized clean rooms. The window in our first room was broken (222) so we changed. The road noise is loud in the ones at the front. Nice shower and comfy bed. The breakfast was disappointing, thy need more staff as there were no clean/empty tables when we arrived, no plates when we went to the buffet, and small selection of food on. The couple of staff that were working were run off their feet. Other than the noise it’s a good location to stay.

Very well maintained property

Great hotel for a great price. Dog friendly but if you don't have dogs, don't worry, there is absolutely no sign dogs have ever been in the rooms, no lingering dog smells etc. I've stayed here twice and on the second stay was in a room facing the road. I'm a light sleeper but wasn't woken by the traffic at all. There's no Aircon in the rooms but you are provided with a fan so be aware if you run hot. Facilities are brilliant and the free cake each afternoon is a nice added extra. Staff are all lovely and happy to help with anything. Breakfast is very nice but be aware that there's no full English but you do get eggs, beans and bacon. Location is good and just a short drive from Derwent dam and Castleton. Would highly recommend this place and will be visiting again myself.

Fantastic stay. Brilliant location for exploring the Peak District. Great rooms and facilities on sight. Felt really good for the price.

Fantastic stay, staff were amazing

Lovely vibe, staff are great and friendly, happy to chat with guests. The gentleman who changed are room was very helpful as we requested to move to the other side of the hotel, away from the road (light sleepers) and they were happy to help. Would recommend to anyone, great place to stay and fantastic location for walking, cycling etc

Was an impromptu stay checking in and oit was easy, comffortable rooms and very clean. Very reasonable price for stay. Resturant was fab staff were very prompt and friendly and food was amazing. We will definitely be back!
