Room was really nice. Food in the evening was excellent. Breakfast bit o let down Use of heat lamp cabinets food never stays hot unless you get there when it first get layed out and then you might get it a bit over cooked. 1 Tea and coffee machines so always a que. Sat in bar with dog and was asked nicely to move as dogs not allowed in that area could not really understand that it was no different to sitting in a pub bar and people eating and drinking can understand the actual restraunt area but a bar .really Apart from that can not fault hotel and staff all polite and very helpful.

Overall, the stay was fantastic, with a really nice atmosphere. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. However, in the evening, a member of staff swore at us when we tried to order a coffee at the Starbucks counter. This was very unprofessional and uncalled for.

First night heating did not work neither did flush on toilet. Bedroom was very dated and not clean cobwebs around light fittings and bed. This is not a 4 * hotel.

Average hotel with a number of add ons which is not acceptable and should be included. Pool access charge! Parking charge! Spa charge! So the price you pay is just the room only. Otherwise staff lovely and beds comfy. Dated rooms could do with redecor but great sized room and clean except under the bed.

The hotel and room were fine, just disappointed to find the pool closed at 7pm on a Saturday. We arrived just after and had booked this place as it had a pool. Most I have stayed in are open until 10pm

My teenage daughter and I had a pleasant overnight stay. The reception welcome was fantastic - very friendly and accommodating. Our room was huge, with 2 double beds, kettle, tea/coffee and lots of space. We even had an iron and an ironing board. The bathtub was missing a plug so we used a shower option instead. Overall, the room, linen and towels were very clean. The bathroom decor was dated but it gave it a character and I liked it. We didn't use any hotel amenities as we only stayed a night and had to travel again very early, however, the entrance lobby looked very inviting and bar area well stocked.

We really enjoyed our stay. I am a scrounge when paying for meals out But we thought the evening meal was good value. The waiters where very helpful and helped to make it a great success. ONE FAULT WAS I DIDN'T REALISE YOU HAD TO PAY FOR PARKING. BEFORE WARNED.! Thankfully a lovely member of staff (Marie) sorted it.

Reasonable priced hotel I used for business trip. A little tired but adequate for a short stay over.

Reception are clean and noce to sit for coffee Our room was noisy and very tatty so we asked to be moved. A much better room, cleaner bathroom and quiet

Somewhere to stop en-route, that’s all. The hotel was about as tired as I was when I arrived after a 5 hour drive at the end of a day’s work.

I dont normally write reviews however, the terrible breakfast did it. For £11.95 it was probably the worst breakfast I've had in a hotel. The bacon and sausage was dry and overcooked. The eggs and hash browns were greasy and left an odd taste. Otherwise the hotel is ok for what i paid, if a little rough around the edges.

Pleasant hotel with large rooms and comfortable bed. Was looking forward to using the spa facilities however was surprised that an extra charge would be incurred. Evening meal was tasty with plenty of choices

Great location, great social areas, good food options and rooms are spacious and clean although a little dated but I was happy enough with the facilities

Great location for where i was spending my camp weekend, room was set up so cosy to walk into, lively view onto small garden. As i checked in late parking was limited as there was only a few disabled spaces so struggled to get out of car as had to park in normal space.

We stayed in an accessible room which doubled as a family room and unfortunately the family next door were very noisy. They kept their kids up until one in the morning and then shouted at them for crying! Then they were awake at six doing the same. Also, from 12:15 every five minutes we received a call on the room phone from a man who just said hello ma'am and put the phone down. I enquired at reception who could make a call to a guest bedroom and was told such a call could only be made from reception. Am employee thinking it was funny?? We didn't think so. The receptionist offered us free breakfast but we had already paid so didn't take her up on it. She said the call could have been made by the hotel's ghost! (Haha!)

Don’t waste your money on breakfast . Coffee is awful. Poor choice and staff is ignorant. Their breakfast till 10 , I came @8:55 am . There was crumbs of scrambled eggs , one fried egg and 3 peaces of bacon left in their buffet. Absolutely no fresh fruits or veggies, no cheese. Most importantly is the attitude. Saigon says wait to be seated , staff walks around like you are invisible . After 10 min just standing there they just tell you seat anywhere ! Why sign there then ? While staring at empty buffet , I asked for fresh scrambled eggs, I got the look of surprise, because of course there still were leftover dried crumbs there…. I was told they are preparing more eggs, … 20 min later not a single item came out of that kitchen ! Should be ashamed charging money for that kind of breakfast ! Hotel itself , was dated but clean . Quiet , spacious rooms. Parking available on site . Bar in the lobby, but they don’t accept cash. You’ll need card to pay for dinner and drinks ! Food is so so !
