This hotel is located the beach and from the room we can see wonderful ocean view.

Courtesy on arrival was excellent Room clean but hotel dated Considering it was freezing outside the hotel was very warm Breakfast was appalling, apple juice was rancid, bacon and sausage both had a taste of being cooked days before and reheated, completely inedible If u forget Breakfast for the £42 cost of the room for the night it was fine being cooked days before and reheated

Well booked for my parents to go away wanted a bottle of presecco for room they went and got one but gave them no glasses to drink from them they gave them wine glasses so they had to wait till the bar opened to get proper glasses to drink it apart from that they said they had a great stay

Very helpful, clean large room with sea view

Room has wall paper falling off all over the place, bed is hard as a rock and there are no outlets for charging phones etc anywhere near bed. Tv is miniscule and half the channels don’t work. The hotel has the potential to be so much more but has clearly not had a penny spent on maintenance in decades

The whole of the hotel was presentable. The staff were friendly and professional including dining room supervisor Laura and her staff, front of house manager Osge, receptionists Steph and Bianca. The food was excellent especially Christmas Day lunch. Thank you to the Cavendish for a brilliant week.

The room was okay, apart from the two beer bottles I found in the ceiling light- evidence might not have been cleaned thoroughly. Parking was not the best, very small entrance with a speed bump, even the spaces are tight in the middle. The staff behind the counter was quite rude, and seemed to be as if she had better things to do. Even when we left, went to go tell her about the beer bottles we had found and she looked at us, I went to talk and she walked into the opposite room. Other than that, hotel was warm, could use a lick of paint though. Didn’t get a beach view with my room, but not too fussed. Hotel was on the sea front so great position. Bar lady was amazing :)

O.k. Stay. Room seemed a bit hot (even with window left open)....a bit rundown perhaps....o.k. for one night....good location....

The first room we were given looked like a dumping ground for old furniture, it was dirty and run down. We complained and got moved to a different room which was much better but still very tired looking, this theme continued throughout the rest of the hotel. The whole place needs a clean up and face-lift.

A grand beachfront hotel. There is the option of security controlled parking which is an additional fee or on street parking which is free from 6pm to 8am but reasonable after that. I took an elevator to my room on the 4th floor which had a lovely balcony providing an idyllic view. The room was nice and tidy and the bed gave me a great night's sleep. The dining area had a slightly tired looking décor with a buffet breakfast which got the day off to a good start. Decent value for money.

Check in was smooth, room was lovely, bathroom could do with updating, butbit was spotlessly clean, will definitely book again

Check in reception was poorly handled. Luckily another staff member fixed it - 25 minutes later!! Nice location. Is a bit disheveled, but a good price.
