部屋は狭く汚い。それはいいとしても，4泊したがタオルを替えてくれない。 亭主はいい人そうだが。 もめるとすれば朝食。4ポンドと別料金だが，English breakfastはおいしかった。

The hotel is definetely a bit shabby and down-at-heel, but it is clean and the staff friendly. Although it was a shared bathroom this was not a problem. The shower was surprisingly strong and as hot as i needed. The room was small but the matress on the bed was very comfortable. If you're happy with cheap but clean then I'd recommend it. I'd stay again

Worst hotel experience of my life. This is an outright scam. Nothing like the pictures. Place is filthy, dirty and in a poor state of disrepair. Recommend you avoid at all cost.

Overall the room was good value for money, being only 30 mins walk from Reading Festival. Had a very nice check in. The room itself was good, a few chipped paintworks and a very dusty extractor fan in bathroom, but we were happy nonetheless. Only small issue was we only had half a room of toilet paper and on Saturday morning we asked for it to be replaced whilst we were out at the festival. On our return at midnight, no toilet paper was provided, which made things difficult. Would recommend having at least 1 spare in the bathroom provided if the one on the rail is not a full one. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and would recommend if you are looking for a room to drop your stuff, go to the festival or stay most time out in Reading. We would happy come back if at least 1 extra toilet rolls were provided in the bathroom on our check in.

Bad condition. No soundproof at all. For two nights I was hearing some weird groaning from the person staying next door. I did not know that the Room I was going to stay at is not en-suite. Dusty and old carpets. Moulds on the wall. The doors were in bad condition. Had to change to TravelLodge for my 3rd night

The whole building needs renovation. It is old and room not aired out so smell of dampness.

Pretty sure the place was a halfway house for the underworld! Shower was broken. Toilet was broken. No staff to be seen. Stunk of cannabis. People running up and down the stairs into the early hours and banging doors and shouting. Moved a bed to retrieve a dropped item and the wall was covered in mould. Pretty sure behind there hadn’t seen a hoover in a decade. Beds were so uncomfortable the floor would have been more inviting if it hadn’t been covered in suspicious stains. I could go on and on!!! Disgusting excuse for a hotel

The bed was nice with fresh sheets and the bathroom was nice and clean apart from broken tap. We were lucky to have the double with en-suite, other rooms had a shared bathroom. Manky carpets, dirty walls, mouldy ceiling. Noisy. I know its a cheap hotel but wasnt dirt cheap.

They never cleaned the room I also book another extra night and they didn't clean not even provide toilet paper or towels I had to request for it and also not option for bed and breakfast they don't provide this service but on Internet says they do and not even for get water because the machine was broken, they provide coffee and sugar and the person attending the hotel was very friendly.

This room was simple, but clean and the shower was good. The owner gave me an upgrade so that I did not have to share a bathroom. For the price, it exceeded my expectations.

It's cheap and adequate, beds are comfortable enough; however, the wifi wasn't good enough to stream TV which when is pretty essential to pass time when working away from home.

Fine for 1 night the hotel is a bit run down the rooms are clean and tidy it was quite and less than 12 minute walk to town centre

Get what you pay for. Cheapest rooms up most stairs.

The property was now up to standard the room was dirty all the walls was dirty and the bathroom was dirty as well I was not satisfy I didn’t even take a shower and I really would like a refund and I also have a video to show how the room was

I didn’t like the stay there. Everywhere were insects. The heating doesn’t work etc.

I arrived in need of a hot shower and found the shower broken. No way of regulating the temperature and the water was scolding hot i had started to shower so my hair was wet. There was no way to shower due to the temperature so i then tried to dry my hair only to find the hairdryer did not work. No heating in the room so wrapped my wet hair in a towel and slept with cold wet hair all night. Noone on reception. Absolutely appaling. Want a refund and to warn others
