The reception staff was courteous and check in was easy. The hotel is on Windsor grounds so well kept. We checked in and no concierge service. We are elderly so we walked towards our room and when we reached there the elevator was not working. So you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Someone very kindly helped us. Impossible for us to do that at age 76. No warning given to say that elevator was not working. The elevator, after two nights stay and check out on the third day had not been fixed. The room was nice and clean. Bathtub/ shower had hand rails but the tub was high so difficult to get in even holding on to the support bars. We’re scared we would slip and fall. Tub was mid size. We stayed two nights. The 2nd day the room was not cleaned, dirty tea mug and water glasses not taken away. The mess remained. THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY. WE WERE AT A WEDDING THERE BUT PLACE SEEMED DISORGANIZED. COMPLAINT HAS BEEN NADE WITH THE MANAGER AND WILL BE COMPLAINING TO CORPORATE AS WELL. LOCATION IS PRIME BUT COULD DO WITH LOT OF IMPROVEMENTS. People with medical handicap please think twice. In USA they would have a lawsuit on their hands. Not happy with the stay due to the reasons stated.

The room was clean and perfectly suited for an overnight stop with two young children. The room was very warm, despite provision of a fan. The use of the pool was excellent and the bar restaurant was great for a drink and food in the evening.

We didnt stay here for long as we had a very early start so no time for breakfast, but the bedroom was clean and a very comfortable bed. We had a lovely view of the gardens too. The freshly cooked pizza was excellent and all staff were happy and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We booked a stay at the hotel following a trip to Lego Land with our two children. We have stayed at the hotel previously without any issues however this time was different. There was a wedding and a staff party on during our stay which we weren’t made aware of when booking. The volume of the karaoke/music was unbearable and could be heard all over the hotel. Due to the hot weather we were unable to close the windows due to there being no air conditioning. After two hours of being there we decided to check out as we were unable to relax. From the reaction of the staff on the front desk it was clear we weren’t the only ones to complain that night.

Stayed on site for a wedding. The wedding suites were good and well maintained. The actual accommodation was not great. Very basic rooms and lack of air con was a serious deficiency. When we are experiencing hot weather (as now), the one electric fan provided in a family room is not really sufficient. Breakfast was okay but very crowded in the area. Teas and coffees only available on a machine. One of the two wasn’t working so large queues formed at the one machine that was working. Not a great experience.

WORST PLACE I HAVE STAYED IN A WHILE - NO EFFORT TO RESOLVE MY COMPLAINT (DON’T STAY HERE!!!) I appreciate your comments regarding the location of your room. As a large estate with accommodation spread across several wings, some rooms are situated further from the main facilities than others. I am also sorry to hear that you found the room uncomfortably warm and that you were disturbed by noise from a delivery vehicle early the following morning. I was particularly concerned to read your comments regarding the silverfish you noticed in the bathroom. Whilst silverfish are not harmful, their presence is certainly not something we expect our guests to encounter. I have shared your feedback with our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams so that the room can be thoroughly inspected and treated if necessary. Having reviewed your booking, I can see that you chose to depart a day earlier than originally planned. Whilst I appreciate your disappointment, I am afraid we will not be offering compensation or a refund for the unused night on this occasion. Thank you again for bringing your concerns to our attention. Guest feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas where we can improve, and I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a much more enjoyable stay. I have a health issue where my body breaks down food incorrectly causing body odour. I found on the last day of my stay the hot water to my room had been turned off. I believe this to have been done on purpose by the hotel, hotels will always notify tennants of issues like this and aologise. I work fixing instruments in hospitals to save lives globally. I would prefer to not be forced into a cold shower by hotels who discriminate.
