Very and comfortable room

The room was comfortable and clean with a luxury feel to the bathroom. Good shower pressure with an adjustable head. Slept well in the bed with good pillows and mattress. Nice touch to have a fridge for some fresh milk with the tea and coffee facilities. Sky lounge and restaurant both excellent. Breakfast was well stocked and good quality with a wide choice. Only let down was the night staff for room service. The 24hr menu wasn’t in fact 24hr. We had relied on that. The front desk said they couldn’t provide anything other than one sandwich option. They weren’t apologetic and seemed annoyed to be questioned as to why that was all there was on offer. Hopefully, a one-off and will definitely still stay again.

Hair dryer didn’t work and Sky bar was closed

A lovely hotel with excellent staff in all areas. The breakfast was good with a reasonable selection of food, but would have benefitted from a slightly larger selection. The Sky Bar has amazing views and the staff very welcoming and personable. In the room, the bed was extremely comfortable with excellent pillows. It was clean, but a little bit ‘tired’. The furniture suffered from design over functionality. The door handles were ridiculously small and not easy to open. There was a small table with only one chair and one uncomfortable stool, all a bit unsatisfactory. In the bathroom, the plug in the basin was rusty and we were unable to open it to drain the basin. This was resolved when we returned to the room, but it should not have been as issue in the first place. Overall it’s a nice hotel and I would stay again.

Easy check in etc, modern room. We were given an accessible room so was very large however the bathroom wasn’t brilliant for us due to the accessible features - very low sink, high toilet, wet room etc . The bathroom fan also did not work. Air con in the room also did not work. The bedroom fan worked and was very loud, however we were still boiling all night despite being on max fan and coldest setting. Sound proofing was great and we didn’t hear anything despite being over the train station. Lots of sockets in the room was a bonus, but a dressing table would have been good.

Not having chromecast in a 4 star hotel in this day and age is shocking. That's all I have to say

Awsome location, easy walk to town with excellent variety of bars directly outside of hotel. Sky lounge is lovely but expensive and very loud. The lock bar was again excellent, reasonable prices, again not cheap but throughout the areas staff were well presented and very attentive. Room clean but bed was very hard and unfortunatley a poor nights sleep for us both and wifes back suffered for a few hours after we woke. Pillows too soft and no firmer options that we were aware of.

Great place to stay, great service and quality of room. Super clean. Being guided to our parking space was especially fabulous!

Clean room. God welcome. Lots of TV channels. Breakfast wasn’t inefficient, queue to get seated. Have carry out cups which is great for a tea to go at the end but all machines switched off. Was told breakfast ended at 1030, corrected him, 11 on Sunday

Amazing stay. The room was spotless and the service was amazing from check in to breakfast and housekeeping. Everyone was so friendly. Breakfast was fantastic all clearly labelled with allergens, everything kept topped up and the quality was excellent. Lots of options available.
