Excellent stay here, the staff were very accommodating, Espically to my young children. Excellent position on the seafront and a short walk to amenities. The room itself was very clean, warm and cosy. I really appreciated the call, from Paul, earlier in the day to say we could arrive early, it was snowing so we appreciated the warm cosy room.
I was told the chef was unwell but having breakfast you would not know it. The hotel catered for all vegetarian, vegan and gluten free needs. A real gem of a find, you can feel it is a family run establishment with a lot of love goes into creating a cosy environment for their guests. Thank you very much, we would love to return 💚

Stayed for two nights, The Hotel and room was kept spotlessly clean, the hotel staff were all very friendly, we was made to feel very welcome and everyone working was very accommodating. Lovely large sea view room with en suite, excellent views, hot drink facilities, toiletries t.v and hairdryer.
Breakfast was cooked fresh, very tasty and great menu with plenty of choice, served by polite staff catering to specific needs.
Location of the hotel was fab, in a quiet area need the waterways with onsite parking.
Will definately return as I have found my new favourite hotel in the area 😍

The reviews said the breakfast was great but it exceeded that. Great hotel, staff were wonderful, room with a view was a joy. Decorated for christmas with a warming fire felt welcoming. It rained all the time we were there but The Furzedown was an oasis of warmth and comfort. Already thinking about going again.

On arrival was told my room, my room was as it was onli e, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and everything was such a pleasant stay. Felt like the room could do we some. curtains as just blinds did make it a little empty and curtains would make the room more homely.Apart from that was lovely room, breakfast was amazing plenty of choices and food was cooked to perfection.

Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, Lovely and friendly staff Bedroom let it down mattress uncomfortable (FELT SPINGS) small gap at end of bed to get by (6") plus half way there was a radiator so even smaller gap an burnt my bum as you squeezed by.

I was welcomed warmly, the whole place warm, clean & tidy.
The breakfast was presented beautifully & was hot. The breakfast selection was very good and with so much variety was difficult to choose. Have visited previously and will definitely go back again soon.

I travel the uk every week and stay in a lot of hotels. I can honestly recommend this hotel. Friendly owners. Room is clean and had all the amenities.
Great price, and a great breakfast within the price.
I’ll be staying here again when I’m in Yarmouth.

Great hotel, right on the seafront in good proximity to the Brittania pier. The rooms were spacious and bed was very comfy. Tea and coffee facilities in room.
Great selection for breakfast, including gluten free options (i'm coeliac). The restaurant served dinner too but didn’t sample this on this visit.
Car park to rear of hotel, tight access but free. They kindly let us check out 30 mins late as we wanted todo the loacl parkrun and shower afterwards. Very accommodating.

It was a very welcoming and friendly Hotel and Food was hot and well presented with a good choice and service was excellent.
Our room was small but contained all we needed and a very good shower. The only downfall was that we had no view out of our window as it had been covered in obscure glass - our view was fire escape and car park, but even that would have been better to have looked at than no view at all.
