Down here working. Man on reception was brilliant. Will definitely use again if another job comes up in or around this area

Room was clean as was bathroom. Free parking. Breakfast was very nice. Hotel is a bit worn in general but suitable for your needs.

Room was clean but the hotel stunk and there were questionable people being house in there, one chased me and my 15 year old upstairs and into corridor, luckily we got to our room b4 he got to us, also there was a woman in a towel on the roof hanging her nickers to dry who had climbed out of a window

Badly presented, no restaurant

Staying overnight for the Bewdley regatta next day. Greeted with a smile and got a lovely clean room with very welcome air conditioning. Bar area was nice with helpful staff. Food looked lovely but we had eaten before we got there. Breakfast standard fare but nicely presented.

Room clean enough. Parking easy. Bar standard. Hotel was generally fine but nothing special. Only booked because was advertised as having AC, in the middle of this continuing heat wave. When I checked in, there was a sign saying AC not working, engineer repairing. It looked like it had been printed off in the 90's, and no sign of an engineer onsite. Wouldn't be surprised if I found out that the AC hasn't actually worked since the 90's as that's how old the units looked. I made the staff member aware only reason I booked was due to it being hotel in the area with AC advertised on the Main first page of the app. He wasn't interested in listening to my complaint and started wobbling his head like the Churchill insurance dog. He said he had no intention of compensating me and fobbed me off, almost like he was used to this complaint (again, wouldn't be surprised if the AC is always "Broken"). He gave me a fan, and to be honest the room wasn't as warm as some I've experienced but the staff members complete lack of interest in trying to smooth over the situation was appalling. Didn't even offer a free drink at the bar or to cover my breakfast, anything??? Really bad customer service. Hotels are hospitality and service. That staff member needs to learn how to be hospitable. I contacted Hotels.com and they sorted it. Thanks hotels.com, you're great. Wouldn't stay here again. There's one round the corner without AC but has a pool, same price.

On arrival the receptionist was very rude when I arrived. There was then issues with my key card not working and the receptionist stated this was my fault. After I managed to get in the room it was no better. Disgusting and dated. The bed sheets were dirty, the towels had black marks on them and the bed was hard. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open. I had breakfast in the morning. Sausages were under cooked and the food was tasteless. I will not be going here again.

Ok if you are looking for cheap accommodation. But generally dated and no restaurant facilities.

The room was stuffy and the aircon didn’t work. The hotel felt very outdated and the quality wasn’t good. I did get a room changed but felt like the whole hotel needed a tidy up and a refurbishment

Helpful regarding secure motorcycle parking

So when I booked this room, it's was primarily for the air-conditioning as it was a heat wave and for medical reasons I needed a break from the heat. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly. They each chatted with me whenever I encountered them, and checked on me whenever I appeared at the lobby. At some point my air con conked out. But within 20 minutes of my approaching the subject with the receptionist I was put into a new room which was lovely. The rooms were spotless, even though they aren't the newest decor in the world, clean and cool was all I needed! Thank you for a pleasant stay👍

Terrible Hotel should be a ( 1 ) Star Hotel is Grumpy Smelling of Damp Dirty Carpets Old Décor No House Keeping What So Ever I Stayed Here 5 Nights with nobody came to my Room with Anything I Mean Anything I Had to buy my own Toilet roll Tea Milk No Fresh Sheets I went to Reception but nobody there 3 Times so called them Told them my issues and they left to Towels in my Room when I was at Work Never Emptied the Trash Bins Nothing Do yourself a Favour go somewhere else And Avoid This Hotel The Gainsborough House Hotel Kidderminster Terrible place

Staff were lovely & very helpful but the hotel itself is in very poor condition & quite dirty. The beds are awful & can feel every spring and the bed frame through gaps, shower curtain mouldy & no shower gel or toilet paper in the room, mugs dirty & the carpets were not clean. Again can't fault the staff, kind and welcoming.

As soon as you walk in to the hotel there was a musty smell. Appreciate it’s a 3 star, but I have to say I wouldn’t give it that. It’s tired and dated and rooms although adequate they are not the cleanest. No restaurant on site for evening meals, and breakfast was a let down. Poor quality products. Sadly will not be returning to hotel. Chosen for location but wished I drive a further couple of miles to a Premier Inn. Cheaper and cleaner.

Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom was clean - bath had shower over it - could do with grab rail to help get in and out of bath. Room looks like it could do with a repaint and skirting board and window need a good clean! Window looked out over very wild piece of garden. No lift but there was a stair lift. Communal areas also look in need of TLC. No food in restaurant in evening but Deliveroo deliver to hotel. Breakfast ok- self service.
