A modern fresh and clean hotel. Very quiet, really comfy beds, large television and a great assortment of tea and coffee options in the room
Including tea bags, coffee bags, fruit tea and hot chocolate and biscuits. My one improvement would be to have the same extensive range of drinks at breakfast instead of just normal tea and various coffee options

Lovely hotel, modern rooms, great A/C
Booked a park view. Could see two enclosures from the room which was great. Ate in the bistro, average food. Breakfast was average too. If you stay at the hotel you can get discounted zoo entry tickets. Zoo was fab!

Came with our baby to be told they don’t provide mattresses and expected him to sleep on a travel cot which he would have felt metal rods in his back. Also a huge hole. This doesn’t comply with safe sleep regulations. Nowhere on the website to state this. We had to pay extra for a room upgrade but felt like this should have been complimentary. Breakfast was also quite poor.

Stayed here before and will again. Room is good - a little stark perhaps, but clean, well fitted out and has all we needed for a four night stay. Choices of dining limited, but there are handy other local places outside the park if you need a change

We booked a room with a balcony and view of the resort. The view was mainly overlooking the bistro area. We did get a glimpse of a bushdog. The room was for 4 people but only two chairs on the balcony.
We would not bother with a balcony with a resort view again. The resort is very well kept and clean. The breakfast was a buffet and ok.

The hotel and location are amazing. The rooms are comfortable, clean, felt luxurious, and our park-side room had an amazing direct view of the park, where we could see a few of the animals, which was lovely. The staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cafes, restaurants and shops that are on the hotel’s doorstep are really nice and the whole area feels enclosed and a lovely place to stay, relax and explore. The park is beautiful and right next to the hotel - so perfect to stay if you’re going to the park. It’s an all-around great hotel to stay in for a night, or even for a full holiday! We will definitely be returning.

Excellent views of the park with lots of animals to see.
Hotel room was dusty, bits on floor, looking run down with paint missing. Not very big and no chair to sit on only low stool which I couldn't use due to being disabled. Lots of tea and coffee available. Breakfast was good.

Very clean and modern. Easy check in and convenient restaurant next door. There was also a room in the hotel available for everyone with a microwave, sweet machine etc. right next to the wildlife park.

I loved my 'mini-break' at The Hex Hotel. I was combining a day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and meeting up with various family members who lived near Rossington, so a 2-night stay was arranged. On both evenings I treated cousins to a meal at the restaurant, and the food was delicious, the staff were attentive and friendly. Also had breakfast there each morning, which was tasty and plenty of choice provided. The hotel room was so comfortable and roomy, and the bathroom had both a bath and a shower. I was also lucky and was upgraded to a room with a balcony. There's loads of parking, but it is a bit of a walk from there to the hotel reception area, then a further walk to the actual hotel. I can highly recommend a stay here. I'll definitely be booking again.

We had a family room which was lovely. We had a fridge which was good for storing snacks for our small grandchildren 2 and 4 years. One point. It is a family room but we could not access any of the childrens channels cbbc. The breakdast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Staff were very friendly

Having a fridge in the room and a kitchen at the end of the corridor was ideal when travelling with my 3 year old grandson. He loved spotting the dinosaurs from the window. Room was spotless and comfortable. Great service from reception and the staff at the Wild Bistro Cafe
