Car park is quite a distance away. Then reception isn’t with the hotel, I was distracted and tired and missed the reception as I saw the hotel first, headed to that, couldn’t get in and then asked in the bar Reyes Pinter me back to the hotel entrance, it wasn’t u til some other guests arrived that they Pinter out the reception back towards the car park. Annoying when it’s raining as they are not next to each other. This needs to be made clearer. Room was ok, a little more than a travelodge if I’m honest.room was actually cold, with solid floors and was woken up by people walking around in the room above. Who needs to be walking around from 2-5am!!! Breakfast was ok, told to sit anywhere, yet the tables weren’t made up, no cutlery or condiments, all other tables had dirty plates and hadn’t been wiped clean. Would I stay there again? Maybe if little or nothing else was available, I go somewhere else if in the area.

Fantastic family hotel in a beautiful setting! Comfy beds, clean rooms & great breakfast. We will be back.

The food was really nice and fresh and were a huge variety to choose from.The rooms where really good and i enjoyed my time with my family.

Great hotel clean today quite location My only issue is that the disable parking is a long walk from the hotel and reception. . Also reception is in a diff ent building to the actually hotel

Lovely hotel for Yorkshire wildlife park. It makes visiting much more enjoyable at a reasonable cost. Especially when travelling from some distance away. The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The wild bistro do a great breakfast but could do with healthier options for dinner. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Stayed here a few times, always pretty good, worth noting the car park is a bit of a walk away from reception which is in a seperate building to the hotel which is a further walk from reception so you will get your steps in. The rooms are well appointed with good beverages in the room, you have your own AC control and the beds & rooms are clean with a decent sized TV, WiFi is also good. The toiletries supplied appear to be good quality the shower is OK. They also offer family rooms as well as doubles as I found out on my last stay where my room had a bunk bed next to the door in - again point of note this configuration might not suit soem families as the door is easily opened from inside, the bunk beds are by the door and the view from the main bed is obstructed by a wall in this direction. I noticed the grouting in the shower was was a mouldy on this visit as was the shower mat which I reported. I have coeliac disease so cannot eat gluten or gluten-contaminated food so breakfast could have been a problem but the staff were excellent & the chef cooked me my own special plate rather than the buffet & even supplied gluten free toast - very impressed! Overall I recommend this hotel, it is good value and pleasant

Nice quiet Hotel, with friendly helpful staff a nice place to stay

I was away on business and this hotel seemed a little unusual from what I normally stay in. However it was wonderful. Rooms are immaculate and cosy. The restaurant was excellent with decent bar. Highly recommended.

Stayed here with my son and we both really enjoyed our stay. Room was perfect. Very clean, tidy and spacious. Beds were Comfortable and the room had everything required to make our stay comfortable. Staff at reception were all friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely return

Overall our stay was good, the room was clean and well-appointed. However as a wheelxhair user the disabled car park needs resurfacing (it was quiet uneven to transfer in and out of the car). There's also quite a dip in front of the entrance door to the rooms making it more difficult to bump over the metal entrance strip.
