Warm room.
Comfy bed.
Hot and fairly powerful shower.
Facilities, furnishings and deco dated but fully functional and as expected for a budget hotel.
Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Middle of student area so external noise at a weekend shouldn’t surprise anyone and not the hotels fault.
At a time when hotels in Manchester are ridiculously priced it’s nice to know affordable accommodation still exists on a tight budget.
A perfectly quirky hotel.
I enjoyed my stay and will go back should I need to be in the area again.

マンチェスターはかつて繊維産業で栄えた都市でしたが、現在は都市の中心街はロンドンのよう。オクスフォードロード駅北にはゲイ・ヴィレッジがあり、南にはマンチェスター大学が200年の歴史を誇りますが、さらに南に行くとイスラム系の移民街が連なる街です。
なので、居心地は良いのですが、大きなコンサート等があるとホテルがすぐに埋まってしまうのがたまに傷。
そんな中このホテルは通常は1日7000円と言う破格の値段で泊まれます。調度品などは特段良いと言うわけでもないです。
ですか、半地下の部屋には、十分な広さのベッド、椅子、クローク、タンス、机、テレビ、ケトル、コーヒー、紅茶、シャワーとトイレと洗面台が完備されていて、照明も暗くないです。
オーナーはもともと医者をしていた方なので、社会的な信頼もあります。チェックインをするときに鍵をいただいて、チェックアウトのときには、鍵をキーボックスに返すだけ。廊下には、せめてものおしゃれな雰囲気を出すために、フランスのシャネル風の写真が並んでいます。
この値段でこの都市に泊まるには、とても良い場所と考えていいと思います。駅からホテルに行く間は歩くと1時間ほどかかりますが、バスも通っていますし、途中にイスラム系のレストランもいっぱいあります。なので歩いて帰っても飽きはしないはずです。

I was more than disappointed with my stay. On arrival, I learned there was a curfew not mentioned in the listing. The room smelled bad, was dirty, infested with bugs crawling on the ceiling and the facilities were below basic standards. After 24 hours of trying to get a refund and being passed between agents, I was told no refund would be given. When I raised concerns, the owner said if I “didn’t like it, I didn’t have to stay.” A real shame, as the building has potential but is poorly managed and maintained

Easy enough to get places from the hotel, bus stops right next to it.
Check in was nice and easy.
Room was fine, however the bed is a bit uncomfortable and the bathroom was very dark with a very small shower head.

Room wasn't cleaned, dirty towels, we even found a dodgy bag left in the toilets. Me and my friend came to meet other pals in the area and this was a place to rest our heads, but sadly wouldn't be somewhere we'd return to. We felt ripped off at £90 with no breakfast and very tired/limited room amenities.

Adequate room bathroom shocking couldn't even take a shower the thermostat wouldnt generate the water right so was far too hot to use. Toilet wouldnt flush. Rude staff. No help to carry bags with lift being out of order. Definitely wont be staying again.

Only looking for a bed for the night so it did the job. Clean and comfortable beds but place was very run down. No shower in bathroom, no way to deadlock door and the fact the bathroom door lock was dodgy and I got locked in were the worst issues

The room was clean, but the common areas were not. There was also a bad odour in the corridor, receiption area. The general condition of the hotel is poor. Staff not friendly or presentable at all. There is so much room for improvement. Positives are that the hotel is conveniently located, easily accessible with great transport links.

Whilst the manager was helpful and pleasant, and the bedding clean, that is pretty much where positivity ends. This hotel desperately needs care and attention - flooring coming up in bathroom and a window which didn't shut properly, letting in street noise throughout the night. Heating left full on with no control to switch off. Walls were paper thin so could hear every word of adjoining room's conversation.

Like:
Location was suitable for me as I was staying near to my sons hostel and that is the reason I booked the property.
Dislike:
During my 3 days stay there was no House keeping. They barely have any staff doing such service. Bedsheets never changed, Coffee etc never replenished, Toiletries including towels never changed.
All in all there was no service in the hotel other than handing over room keys.

My friend and I had booked a twin room. When I tried to check in, I was told me that they "do not receive Hotels.com bookings" and they had no record of my booking. I showed the confirmation on my phone, but this did nothing and I was told this would not be honoured.
I eventually had to leave and book an alternative hotel at much greater cost as it was on the day so that we had somewhere to stay.
Avoid this hotel despite the low cost. It's not worth the risk.

I know it's not expensive, still charged over the odds, I expected a bit better, is nothing like the pictures or description on the site. No mention of 50 odd stairs, broken lift, the room wasn't clean, including the bedding, bathroom was pretty disgusting, non refundable. Avoid, hostel would be a better choice. Should've had environmental check before falsely advertising.
