My friend and I had booked a twin room. When I tried to check in, I was told me that they "do not receive Hotels.com bookings" and they had no record of my booking. I showed the confirmation on my phone, but this did nothing and I was told this would not be honoured. I eventually had to leave and book an alternative hotel at much greater cost as it was on the day so that we had somewhere to stay. Avoid this hotel despite the low cost. It's not worth the risk.

I know it's not expensive, still charged over the odds, I expected a bit better, is nothing like the pictures or description on the site. No mention of 50 odd stairs, broken lift, the room wasn't clean, including the bedding, bathroom was pretty disgusting, non refundable. Avoid, hostel would be a better choice. Should've had environmental check before falsely advertising.

The photos online are not a true representation of the hotels poor condition. The room smelt awful. The decor is grey and tired throughout. The bathroom was of unhygienic appearance also.

Didn't expect much at the price, but for 1 night? On arrival the limited car parking was badly organised & lacked space so had to park on the street, checking in was slow. Got to the room and it reminded me of thee TV series Porridge, dull, soulless room with few amenities a dated and fragrant bathroom with no towels. Which I didn't notice until the morning.

Wow I've never seen a 'hotel' like this. Notice no bathroom pictures because I think they have better facilities in prisons. The carpet was frayed and looked like half of it has never been hoovered, like a layer of sand had collected along the walls. Though the bedding looked clean I could feel the bed frame through the mattress when I sat on it. A hostel would be better, honestly. Not worth a tenner let alone what I wasted as I couldn't allow myself to stay there, my friend and I didn't feel safe. Most expensive use of a toilet ever because that is all that was used before we left. Don't waste your money and pay a little extra for somewhere you won't feel like a refugee.

The photos are not an accurate representation - this hotel is totally run-down, old and dirty. The mattress was old and lumpy, the walls are peeling, the carpet is threadbare, the furniture was badly stained. There were also bars on the window, so it felt like a prison. My friend came to my room and she got kicked in the bathroom. When I went to get the man on reception he came and got her out, but he tried to make it out that is was her fault for "locking the door then pulling it", but then said several times that it happens frequently. I'm not sure what would have happened if I had accidentally locked myself in when I was alone with no way to ask for help. There was no food available, and there are definitely better quality places for the same cost. The only reason I didn't give 1 start is because the bedding was very clean.

Stayed in this property for a total of 7 nights for a work trip. The doors are closed at 12am so you have to call a number to have the owner come down from one of the rooms to let you in. The rooms are thrown together. The shower for example is constructed using exterior cladding on a closet. The shower controls are plumber putty into a blow through hole in the cladding. The rooms are extremely small and the heating is sporadic, I stayed end of September/October and would regularly feel very cold. This is a rough ride for some one who was working nights, the amount of noise coming through the hotel is high. If you want cheap then this is an option but be warned there are no frills. No to mention even though having booked several days before my booking, when I turned up they informed me it was fully booked. The owner then went on a phone call attack against Expedia or someone and a room was suddenly available, the exact room I had booked lol. The single towel provided was closer to a hand towel as well.

SCAMMERS & CHEATS THIEVES! Avoid Expedia and OYO I paid Expedia for a room booking at OYO. When I arrived at OYO, they told me my Expedia booking was invalid because OYO doesn't work with Expedia. Apparently loads of customers have arrived at OYO with this problem. So what are OYO doing about it? Clearly nothing because they can sell the customer a second booking and refuse to pay the refund for the first one. Double money for OYO. That's a scam! So I had to book a NEW room when they refused my Expedia booking. 9pm at night, I had little choice. OYO asked me to contact Expedia for a refund. Both OYO and Expedia refused to pay a refund. Surely this is illegal? Taking payment for goods, not providing the goods and claiming its in your terms and conditions.
