海外旅行でのホテルは、私の場合、足場がよいこと、昼間の仕事、見学等から戻り、近くにコンビニやスーパーがあり、ホテルでボーっと疲れが取れることが条件です。その意味では、いろいろなレベルのホテルの中で24時間体制でありながらリーズナブルで何の干渉もされないこのホテルはいいです。ただし、シャワールームが狭く、出入りに身体を細めなければならないのは残念です。また、湯の量は豊富なのですが、水の量が細かったのが改善されるといいですね。

本館と別館があり、別館に泊まりました。エレベーターがなく階段なのですが一段一段の幅が狭く急な螺旋階段で、重いスーツケースの場合女性1人では部屋まで上げるのは至難の技です。壁も薄く隣の会話が丸聞こえ。部屋にあるトイレとシャワーが西部劇に出てくるようなパタパタ扉があるだけで、部屋と仕切られてなかったのが衝撃的でした。トラムの駅が目の前にあるのと、立地が便利なのを除いたら、良いとこないかも。

Hotel Oliver is perfectly located! Earl's Court and Gloucester Road Station in 5 and 10 minutes walking distance. Simple but clean rooms with small TV. Breakfast is acceptable, but not rich. Ham, foiled toast cheese and ham. Nothing fried, such as bacon, ham or beans. Breakfast is being served. Eggs always well done, toast fresh and crunchy. Looking for a room to explore London without expextations - your spot!

O chuveiro estava frio, não conseguimos tomar banho pela manhã, foi disponibilizado outro chuveiro em outro quarto, porém o problema não foi resolvido. Ficamos muito insatisfeitos com isso.

Breakfast option was poor. There was no hot water in the shower but boiling hot water only from the tap?! I couldn’t take a shower. The road noise was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. Really not happy with my stay here and would expect a refund for the above

Nice size room. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Parking not close by so something to be factored in.

Helpful staff and good location close to tube station

The hotel is located a good 20 minute walk from the Kensington Olympia, so great for those attending conventions there who are looking for a well-priced place to stay if they are travelling from out of London since train prices can skyrocket quickly if attending multiple days in a row. Across Cromwell Road and to the right is Earl's Court Road which had a good variety of places to eat of an evening, both takeaways and formal dining. Earl's Court Road station is the ideal place to arrive when planning a trip which involves checking in as your first course of action. The rooms were kept very clean thanks to the diligent cleaning team at the hotel. My only complaints would be the narrow door to the bathroom of the room I was in which may be an issue for plus-sized guests in a single room. That and the room door closing quickly and loudly when left to close on it's own, so any guests should be mindful to close the door manually and carefully as to not trap digits nor to disturb other guests. Finally, the customer service was wonderful. The staff member who checked me in was a very polite and kind gentleman who processed my check in very well. Staff are available 24/7 at the reception, so despite requiring to return your room key to them whenever leaving the hotel premises, the process is easy. When I asked if they could keep my luggage on the day I checked out they were very understanding and were able to do so, so ideal for any convention-goers with a lot of luggage.

Room was tired with a mattress which had seen better days. Bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was quite pathetic: some toast and a boiled egg.

Très bon hôtel, des grandes chambres, propre avec un petit déjeuner et servi à table. Le personnel très à l’écoute et une mise à disposition de la chambre à 10h du matin (sans frais!) et hautement apprécié - merci au monsieur au turban…👍 Seule hic le matelas à ressort qui mérite à être changé et les pats très brouillants du couloir supérieur… Prix très raisonnable ( j’ai réservé 2 semaines avant mon arrivée). Emplacement bien entre deux stations de métro et des magasins et restaurants.

Very nice staff, clean room, lovely breakfast,we asked about late check out and they agreed so we could keep our belongs in the room till 4pm, very recommended

A pleasant stay. Room very clean and staff friendly and courteous. Only downside was the toilet cistern would not stop filling so quite noisy.

Personalet var søde og rare og ville os det bedste. Værelset i kælderen var fugtigt og slidt. Sengene ukomfortable og vandet i bruseren enten meget varmt eller koldt. Varmen i værelset blev styret af en gammel AC, som enten var iskold eller pustede varm luft l Persona

Reprehensible,rude,confrontational,miserable,unwelcoming staff. (We own 12 successful businesses in Canada.OUR EMPLOYEES treat our customers like GOLD.Otherwise we would fire them.) Staff at OLIVER HOTEL reception need to be fired.We are not curs under your feet.You treat customers like dirt.You have no people skills. Filthy hotel. Smells of urine.Shower didn't work.Reported to main reception.They did nothing.AVOID THIS DIRTY HOTEL.Expedia should not be promoting them on their website. IF the owner replies to this & is critical of our review, then he is an inveterate LIAR. WORDS TO THE WISE: Never patronize this hell hole.We have been loyal customers of EXPEDIA for 20 years. WHY THEY endorse this horrible establishment is beyond our comprehension. Am sure that the Hotel owner will serve up some platitudinous rebuttal as a pathetic defense.A budiness's reputation is only as good as its service. Room was much smaller than photos, could barely move in the shower, in the morning then shower was cold no hot water and then completely stopped water all together. Breakfast was pants, continental breakfast but it's not even help yourself so you're limited on what you can have. Then finally they also request that you leave your key at reception when leaving the property!!! There was nobody even at reception when I left so I just took my key with me but it's not ideal for security purposes if keys are left and reception unattended with valuables in the room.
