部屋はきれいに管理されていると思いますが、3泊の宿泊中、部屋の床は掃除機をかけられていなかったように思います。またバスタオルは日本でよく使われているサイズの2倍の大きなバスタオルが備えられていましたか、フェイスタオルはありませんでした。私は自分のタオルを念のために持参していましたので大丈夫でしたが、女性は特にフェイスタオルもほしいと感じるのではないでしょうか？ また、部屋には「電気をつけっぱなしにしないでください」など、「〜しないでください」の注意書きがいくつも壁に貼られていて、中には常識外れの行動をする宿泊者もいるのかもしれませんが、いくつもの注意書きがあるのは少し窮屈に感じました。 オーナーの女性は親切でした。

オーナーの方は大変親切、温かみのあるホテルです。 非常に快適に過ごせました。 イギリスによくあるB＆Bですが、ロビーはあります。 チェックインは玄関横のチャインムを鳴らせば、開けに来てもらえます。 （逆に、オートロックのため、開けっぱなしではありません。） 7.5GBPで食べられるFull English Breakfastもお得感がありました。 シャワーブースしかありませんが、特段不便は感じません。 周辺は住宅街で、静かで安全に感じました。

オーナーがとても親切でした．ツインで予約したはずなのになぜかダブルでの予約となってしまっていましたが，すぐにツインルームへ変更してくれました．部屋は清潔感があり，快適に過ごせました．

Room was nice, bed was really good. Had a great night sleep. Check in was good and very nice man greeted us. Morning was a different lady and she wasn't the friendliest. Dining room was good. Continental breakfast was very sparse and cost way to much for what was served.

I was not at all Impressed. I got the property and there was no one to give me any insight or book me in I tried ringing several associated bells sent an email nobody got back to me after 2 hours decided to go home

Would have liked to have had some security on the bedroom, such as a door chain. I felt rather vulnerable, esp as I had to complete my registration details and leave on the desk for all to view. Also a stain on the duvet which made me not want to use it, although rest of bedroom very clean.

What a rip off. Old, dingy, tiny room NO AC on hot summer's day and crmped tiny bathroom- no staff, no Breakfast either and nearly £100 ! Ridiculous. We checked out the moment we checked in and stayed elsewhere. Total dump and will not be returning. Very disappointing and overpriced. My husband and I were shocked at the size gor the price. Avoid!

Breakfast would have been nice if offered. Our room #1 was very warm all night, even with the fan on.

On site parking is always a bonus and here there was a choice, including between a forecourt space, a rear car park or in a garage. Initially difficult to get in as I didn’t have the email with the code, but super helpful staff quickly sorted that and the room was clean and spacious with a fully fitted bathroom. Locally, lovely pub (the Dog & Dick) at the end of the road which does food, great beer & live sports. Close to the city and near a main bus route.

The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean however it had a very distinct body odour smell. No air conditioning is provided however a small fan at 34c is inadequate. The owners are very friendly, the furnishings 1980 with a vintage vibe. We stayed prior to a cruise but would choose elsewhere next time. We were able to stay in the lounge until our cruise departed at 1pm it was very generous.

Only negative was that was no air conditioner

Had good stay, but stairs are a bit small, hauling up suitcases was not the easiest!

Clean room. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Shirley fish and chips. 1 min walk to bus stop where you can catch a bus to city center. The only downside is that the email provided by the host didn't work. We didn't have phone access so had to send an email to host regarding leaving luggage for a few hours, but didn't get response. Ended up paying for storage at the other hotel.

No staff present during our stay. Rang bell at the bar for service according to the note under the bell. No one appeared. I had higher expectations.

Selber einchecken hat funktioniert, aber ich musste ein Videotelefon mit sehr schlechter Audioübertragung benutzen, um herauszufinden, wo ich mein Fahrrad abstellen kann. Es gab eine Garage, die nicht verschlossen war. Das Zimmer für eine Person war das absolute Minimum von Größe. Das Bett war in Ordnung. Das große Licht im Bad funktionierte nicht und an der Wand saß ich eine kleine Kakerlake. Das von Expedia erwähnte Frühstück bekam ich erst nach Aufforderung. Die öffentlichen Räume sind sehr nett, dort kann man sich gut hinsetzen. Die britischen Durchlauferhitzer für die Dusche sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Für kurze Aufenthalte ist das Hotel okay.

Very disappointing. Never met the staff. Couldn’t get luggage up the steep narrow steps. Locked luggage down stairs and then couldn’t reach staff to open the closet. There was a notice in the bathroom stating that if we use too much electric we will be charged. There was a bar in the lounge that never did open on a Friday night. There was a bell but nobody responded. Won’t be back.

Good location, had a good quiet night's sleep. Safe, secure parking facilities.
