My 3 daughters and I loved our Dirham Suite because of the gorgeous view, lovely sitting area, comfy beds, spaciousness, and perfect location in town. Complimentary room service breakfast was an added bonus. Check-in was done completely online before arrival, and instructions were emailed to me a couple days before, so it was simple enough. The only negatives that might cause someone to hesitate in staying here are that there is no on-site parking and no elevators for easily transporting luggage up the flights of stairs. Don’t let that sway you away though. It is a beautiful spot, and paid parking can be found nearby. We did have one issue while staying: The morning we were to check out, we woke up with no running water in our bathroom. This meant we couldn’t wash, brush teeth, shower, or flush toilets. We found a phone number online, since there is not a front desk on-site. The gentleman we spoke to was friendly and apologetic and said that maintenance would come check on things. An hour later, we hadn’t heard from anyone, and we had to get on the road so we just left. Overall, though, that didn’t mar our experience, and we would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Cotswolds.

Lovely large room , huge bathroom , extra large comfy bed , breakfast delivered to room - great friendly staff , the only downside is that it doesn’t have its own parking however there is a car park about a 5 minute walk away . I will definitely be staying there again when I’m in the area

Great location and beautiful room. No reception as it’s just a room but breakfast is delivered in the morning after you leave a card out - and that was great too. Highly recommend

Stairs/hallway leading the room are all scratched and dirty. The rooms are just as run down as the stairs/hallway. Massive black marks on the wall. Towels were white but are now grey as they were old, poor quality and rough to dry yourself on. Bath robes i did not touch as they were also dirty looking and rough. Carpets were dirty. Photos showed coffee machine and pods but that wasn't there anymore. Breakfast was below average, sausage was more like a fried hotdog. No salt, pepper or sauces provided. I don't ever complain, but on this occasion i feel i need to as i paid £230 for this room which was described as luxury. It really isn't, it so run down it resembles the quality you'd imagine in a hostel. Im sure it was luxury 10 years ago, but £230 i paid for 1 night is not justified just for its central location, which was the only positive I was embarrassed as this was a surprise for a 40th birthday. I was embarrassed as it looked like id got the room cheap. But I paid luxury prices for a run down room with dirty rough towels etc

We stayed in the yen suite which was very small, also a tiny shower and bathroom. Ok for one night. Excellent location and breakfast was lovely, just awkward to eat as no table and chairs like other rooms due to the size.

Nice 2 bedroom suite, pitched as ‘luxury’ but slightly tatty in a few places, still clean and nice and had everything we needed. Great location, no parking. No reception but easy check in if you read the instructions! We didn’t get the emailed instructions but sorted quickly over the phone. Cooked breakfast delivered to door.

I booked the old bank rooms for one night only for my boyfriend’s birthday. We were so impressed how amazing the room was, everything was just perfect. The breakfast was beautiful! Perfect location! We will definitely be back

This was a really nice place in a great location. It is right off the Square in Burton on the water which is a lively place during the daylight hours, but then is quiet at night. There is a lovely park with ariver running through the middle of town. All the tourist shopping and mailing about along with locals with their dogs. It is really a lovely safe city feel. They bring breakfast to your room in the morning from the fish and chip shop below. The breakfast was excellent! What a great place to stay.

You cant beat the location, but, thats about it. Its not the boutique hotel it represents itself as. The amount of scuff marks on the walls was more like a well used train station or a paediatric waiting room not renovated since the 70s. Two sinks, one plug didnt unplug, the other was missing. No parking and nearest parking is 5 minute walk away, not the 2 minutes the hotel says. That may not seem like a lot, but its not honest to lie like that. Parking costs £20 a day, so factor that in. wifi disconnects you approx eight times a day. Smart TV never connects to internet and so not smart, no netflix or youtube etc. Breakfast was delivered to the room on time and warm each day. So in conclusion, the location is great, but the property upkeep is worse than you would see in a hotel you rent by the hour...
