パークサイド インターナショナル ホテル

Reading駅周辺に用事があり、利用させていただきました。 Reading駅からタクシーでちょっとかかるのが難点で、ホテル内での食事を手配していない場合は、駅周辺で食事を済ませる必要があるかと思います。（周辺にはまったくないので） ホテル自体は快適ですが、ちょっと室内の照明が暗かったかな……とはいえ、緑に囲まれた感じの環境で、静かだし、用事があればまた利用させていただきたいなと思うところです。

Good service. Good breakfast, although I had to pay separately for it. The room was at the end of the corridor, and it was nice and quiet, as I loved it and needed good night's rest after a long flight. Just the TV in the room didn't work, but I'm not really a TV person, so I didn't even claim. Wi-fi worked well in the lounge area, which was good enough for me. I have long hair and needed a hair dryer, so I asked for it and the reception lady was kind to hand me one to take it to my room. Good location. There are buses that stop at about 3-4 min walk from the hotel. In my case it was the summer season fee, so it costed only 1 pound for a single ticket to town centre. Good hotel!

Very outdated, noise.

Room and bedding were spotlessly clean. Big TV, power shower and a balcony whilst being ones of the cheaper places in Reading. The exterior and location is a bit strange but there’s not much they can do about that and it doesn’t detract from its appeal. I’d definitely stay again.

Room was fine. Mattress was completely dead, pretty much just laying on the bed frame

Yes I should have took photos. Was late and long journey . I took the quilt out of the cover as was too hot . Minging quilt !! Please replace it . Disgusting! Old ! Didn’t dare look at mattresses till morning and very glad I didn’t. But I guess they think it’s ok because there’s a mattress protector! Too many stains On the good side . After refusing 1st room because 103 .. 2nd room bath plug not working and many enamel chips .. 3 rd room apart from bed problem oh and pillows wafer thin ? ! The bath was very hot And you can smoke .

There was no customer service at all. When we arrived all i got was 'fill the form, this is your room' and when we checked out the lady on the desk didnt even acknowledge us. More thorough cleaning needed, went to plug my phone charger in and found an empty condom wrapper behind the bedside table. Also a mouldy sweet on our balcony. Overall is was okay for what we needed it for

When we arrived through the back entrance (road was closed at front) the building looked in poor condition. Once we arrived at front and entered the building our impression changed. Rhe reception was clean and modern and the receptionist helpful and polite. All the rooms we had (4) we large and comfortable. So of the bathrooms could do with a revamp but the majority of them clean and functional. We slept well. It was quite considering the hotel was on a main road. We had a drink in the bar, again this was a large modern area. Drinks were reasonable and again staff polite. We didnt have breakfast so unable to comment. Overall we didnt expect much as the price was very reasonable but we were pleasantly surprised.

I stayed at this hotel about 7 years ago and it felt half built and nothing really seems to have changed since then. Rooms are fine, pretty standard on what you’d expect for a cheaper hotel.

Was a reasonable price and condition with parking but needs some TLC

Was sent wrong hotel by reception and was looking all over for room which was not there as it was in the hotel I checked in but she sent me to the joint hotel wasting my time

So I have an average score. I will start with negatives.. on arrival looks like it could do with an update. Price little high. Hard to find at night. Go down little road and turn left into car park. Positives - quick check in, nice staff, bed was clean and so comfy, so although average I would return for the bed alone :-)

Nice big rooms, with a bath, after walking all day a bath is a must.

Due to being a frequent stayer , I always have the same room, which is great and the staff know me

Road noise late at night

An overnight stop to visit family .. we have 3 dogs and they were welcomed at no extra cost .. good value .. come and go as you please .. nice linen and towels and good shower
