Pleasantly surprised considering what I paid for studio apartment. Well equipped, spotless, spacious had everyrhing we needed. Didn't use restaurant but was available, games room with pool, table tennis and other things to amuse kids plus small amusement arcade. Bar nice for quiet drink which closed at ten. Staff very friendly and helpful and surrounding beautiful with lake. Supermarkets 5 mins away by car, station museum worth a wee visit in carnforth. Will visit again

Great views from the lodge and clean rooms with lots of amenities.
Windermere Lake was a 25 minute drive which was really convenient and Lancaster was a 15 minute drive.
Although it was a short stay, we really loved our time here!

Lovely warm rooms, on a particularly cold weekend, spotlessly clean and including very useful kitchen, sofa, table and chairs. My only area for improvement would be better communicating that these rooms are essentially self-catering. A small amount of tea, coffee and milk is provided as a welcome when you arrive, but you really need to bring your own if you are staying for more than one night. We came in unequipped for self-catering, but there was a small shop for essentials and a bar/restaurant for lunch and dinner on-site. Staff were also extremely helpful in directing us to a nearby truckers’ café that did really good breakfasts. I would definitely stay here again.

Usually a descent place to stay outside of peak season with really good rates but I was given and accessibility room meaning it had a wet room and the drain wasn’t fast enough when you took a shower so I had to use a towel to stop the kitchen from getting flooded. Also the room had an ant problem and I literally had to shake them off my towel before I could use it

Sadly a let down. Didn’t realise how near to a motorway, flight path and train track this was so not a very peaceful stay. The lodges had mould and cobwebs in the bedrooms, the radiators in the bathroom and bedroom were not working and bar area seating was quite shabby. We have stayed at Thurnham Hall and Kenmore Club and these were far superior to the Pine Lodge resort.

Lodge was nice, though disappointed to not get much of a lake view.
It was mostly clean however floor was not, with debris and crumbs left and sweets under the raised sofa.
The sofa itself was rock hard and not very comfortable. The bed was also quite hard but ithe main bed was huge in size.
We had an issue with a tanker emptying sewage pipes ain the early hours waking us up leaving the stench of sewage however when it was raised it was dealt with quickly and all staff we dealt with were lovely and helpful. Swimming pool was quite cold, little was done to control those using it however so groups of teens ruined our time there, taking up all available seating, hogging the hot tub and sauna and splashing around. There was no lifeguard to monitor this and several of them had their phones out poolside which I was not happy with.
