Excellent stay. Sea view. Nice shower and elemis products. Really helpful staff. Nice room, good walking direct from the hotel along the SW way. The grounds are lovely with lots of plants. We had dinner and breakfast, both good.

Great staff, amazing location. Their private beach looks good, however, my dogs were not permitted (maybe a seasonal restriction?).

Clean room. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast. Lovely cafè and restaurant within the vicinity, plus access to the pool and spa. Location is very good with wonderful views of the sea, however, it can be a bit difficult during a very windy day. Overall, would defo recommend and would book again!

The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost opportunity.

Lovely location and bedroom, but unfortunately spoilt by a power cut as we entered for breakfast. There was no cold meats or cheese ,I was offered a bacon sandwich but it was cold. I did feel sorry for the young girl serving ,so we didn't complain.But the main desk staff were very rude when I mentioned not having a breakfast ,she just said take a croissant .

The room was recently refurbished and was very practical for a larger family. The beach view was fantastic. The staff were always helpful, and we had a very pleasant stay.

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on. The next morning I reported to reception about being awoken early due to water pipes rumbling to which I was told nobody had mentioned about before. No offer to move. Having ordered Lunch, our one childs meal was left off the order and he was left waiting. For evening Dinner, we were informed the hotel were short staffed and so could not offer the pizzas advertised on their website. This made things difficult for us having had lunch there earlier and our children having to choose from the same menu. Drinks arrived late, so we turned them away when they eventually arrived thinking that we would go elsewhere for dinner. This was on a Sunday, on my Birthday, and we had little choice but to stay as locally not much was open/and only serving roast dinners. We ordered dinner, to find that our puddings were now missed off and so we had to chase. Throughout the staff were friendly, but not very professional or offering a good service. My 2 separate complaints fell on deaf ears it would seem.

Excellent position. Lovely, friendly staff. Dinner was great too. Maybe I'd mark down the breakfast a little bit but still good. The current building works were not a problem

This is a stunning hotel

The whole place was very clean and tidy. All the staff were brilliant, nothing was to small for them. They were all so friendly and helpful. We booked a sea view and it didn't disappoint. Really enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed at The Polurrion on the Lizard for 2 nights during spring school holidays. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the room was spacious with sea view. We enjoyed the variety of food, our evening time in the hotel lobby and the kids have definitely enjoyed the indoors swimming pool. The location was perfect as the beach was 5 minutes walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cornwall.

Superb views

What a lovely place! My partner and I arrived on Christmas Day & stayed for 3 nights & we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Wonderful scenic location. Welcoming staff, clean rooms, fun live music, board games provided, delicious food & the massage in the spa was also great. The only thing we regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Maggie greeted us and checked us in. She was amazing! So helpful and informative. Remembered our names the who way through our stay which made us feel so welcome. The hotel was gorgeous! All areas were incredible. Our room was beautiful and the sea view was glorious. Food in the restaurant was great, including breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer! 100% recommend.
