Excellent stay - friendly staff, great food and drink, nice and warm (v cold outside). Ample parking. Comfortable room, great shower.

Lovely stay, room hot so had to open windows. Great staff very attentive. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Only downside no shower only a bath with a handheld hose in the bath.

Every member off staff is so helpful and friendly. The rooms were so pretty, large ans warm The bes was so big and comfy. All amenities sorted. Would not think twice about coming back.

Room immaculate , super friendly staff ! Missing the black pudding off breakfast when we asked for one removed from only one but the breakfast lady was trying her best so we didn’t want to trouble her again!

Great stay and very helpful friendly staff. Warm comfortable room with modern decor great for our winter stay.

Evening restaurant staff could be a little more attentive - otherwise great.

Parking great. Staff very friendly especially at breakfast -Tracy 😊 Room with balcony lovely view. Bed very comfy unless you find yourself in the middle where springs could definitely be felt. Shower powerful, hand basin tiny but I guess only size that would fit in such a small space. Public areas very clean and beautifully decorated.

A nice quiet hotel with plenty of free parking. Good food and beer and good quality breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Room was clean but some of the paintwork needs refreshing. Lovely view over the fells to the rear.

Very dog friendly. Wi Fi OK - except you have to sing in.

Lovely stay

right from our arrival the staff were superb. My wife had recently been in hospital and we were not sure how she would be. We need not have worried, the staff, ALL staff could not have done more to look after her. Anything we required was seen to and our room was cleaned when it suited us, to fit in with rest periods that my wife needed.I have traveled worldwide but have never had service and care reaching such heights!! Absolutely wonderfull!!

Room very hot and you could feel the springs in the bed. The Bathroom was decorated beautifully but the shower was only a hand held over the bath tap connection type with no hook to stand it on so you had to hold it and no shower curtain so water ended up everywhere. My husband is tall 6ft 4 and was too tall for the shower, and had to bend down to miss the ceiling. Limited room to place clothing so the floor ended up being our wardrobe. The room was not generous in size so we were jumping clothes piles. Breakfast was ok but croissants very dry. People very friendly.

Amazing location, beautiful scenery, nice food (although they forgot an item on a Sunday roast). All staff friendly & helpful. Room was spotless and clean and very comfortable.
