Excellent atmisphere

トラディショナルな英国風ホテルで、ブランドホテルにはないアットホームさと快適さがある。かつてロジャームーア、アンドリュー・ロイド・ウェバー、レディーガガなど著名人が滞在。朝食はリーズで一番美味しい。バスタブが備えられているのも良い。リース駅から徒歩2分の距離にありシティセンターも至近。

Check-in at this hotel is consistently painful. Slow and archaic and unlike any other hotels we stay in. Allocated a room which backs on to a nightclub which was banging out music until 2am. Asked for an ice bucket which never arrived and finally, room was freezing which was obviously known as there was a small storage heater. Ultimately, there are much better places to stay in Leeds. Don't be sucked in by the marketing of suggested luxury. It is not. Although, with a change of approach, it could be great.

Room wasn't clean, staff not friendly. Bar not staffed. No offer of breakfast, pillows too small and soft

At check in we were told there was no hot water at the hotel. This issue had not been resolved over the weekend. Finally moved to their other property late Sunday afternoon. Was made to feel we were inconveniencing them by wanting to move from the hotel and was told other people were happy to stay.I feel it is not unreasonable to be able to have a hot shower when paying to stay in a hotel. Deposit of £50 taken at check in not refunded. Really disappointed as this is a beautiful property but I feel let down by the cavalier attitude of their customer service staff. I understand that it may not have been possible to fix their hot water system however I did not receive the services that I had paid for.

What stood out was the building itself, an excellent conversion of the former Liberal Club.

Lovely hotel. But right under a night club so don’t expect to sleep.

The staff were very responsive and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The room was spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. Great room service. Definitely would stay here again.

This hotel is one of my safe places, a place to relax, to unwind, to enjoy the guests bar and spend time in our room. It’s a beautiful hotel and the staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Thankyou for being Quebecs.

Very convenient for station, town, restaurants and Christmas market. The breakfast was good but lacked fruit and as I am allergic to caffeine there was not a choice of tea, such as Rooibos or Camomile
