What a lovely personable atmosphere created by the wonderful manager and staff. The rooms are classically decorated, some with grand windows treatments and quality furnishings. the bar is a real treat.
The beds are bedding are exceptional. such a comfortable stay. My bath, was huge the shower had lots of power and toiletries were excellent. Utterly professional and romantically old school "grand" but with a real personal touch. loved it !

Lovely hotel and very well kept. Staff exceptionally friendly and even offered and upgrade to a larger room for a few but we were happy with our choice on this occasion. Will definitely be going back. Very happy there thanks.

Most impressive is breakfast is ordered not take by myself, so should take some time to wait for breakfast, but the staff is so nice

I stayed for one night and was upgraded to a really expensive suite which was amazing for 80£ I payed. the suite was huge. I found it very warm and ended up sleeping on a sofa by an open window. the style of furniture is what I would call country house style...it's not modern. the manager and receptionist were extremely kind and friendly. this makes a huge difference.

We only had a very brief stay arriving late in the evening and departing early in the morning but this hotel was close to the train station, beautiful, quiet, very comfortable and reasonably priced. Would stay again.

The room was clean, very spacious and very comfortable. The furniture is a bit out-dated for the type of room as well as the TV. However, for the price and location this was not a big negative. Would definitely stay again.
