Me and my fiance stayed here for our anniversary and we loved it! The spa was amazing 10/10 but the only detail to note is that spa is separate and you have to pay a fee of £50 per person which would be worth it - we actually got 2 hour slots for free as the main pool steam room and sauna were out of use so we was super happy we got the spa for free, staff were really helpful and polite, breakfast was good and it was included in our stay. The only problem was a few stains on the sofa and chair in our room and wet carpet near the balcony but other than that we was really happy with the whole stay

Disappointing. Large room, but poorly maintained. Spots of black mold in the bathroom and lots of chipped paint and a dirty carpet.

Lovely hotel, highly recommend

Hotel looks great and has amazing views, food is really good especially the breakfast that’s included in the price. Staff all very friendly. Room was definitely “cosy” but still had enough space for 2 people. Few downsides are the walls are very thin and can hear everything from other rooms and corridors and the car park is very small if you are planning on going out and about while staying would recommend leaving your car in the car park as the spaces get taken quickly, we came back and was left with nowhere to park a few times. Other than that we would definitely come again.

The room was clean but the room was stocked for one person when we arrived and it took time to sort that out. Breakfast, the staff were either slow or not many we had to ask for our table to be cleared then cleaned. Things kept running out, shortage of bowls, then cups, then the fruit. Just needed a little more attention

The whole weekend was fab . Beautiful hotel & location all staff were great , everything was thought about . Beautiful rooms , Spa & health club excellent. Food was great. Couldn't fault anything . We will be back

Please be aware the images you see for a spa is NOT the free spa. You have to pay additional to access this which they do not tell you about. Shoddy business practice and will never recommend anyone stay here.

Communal areas in the hotel were stylish, comfortable and immaculately kept. Staff are an asset, absolutely every single one of them appeared to want to be there and make your stay as special as possible. Breakfast was lovely, great choice, local produce and all freshly prepared. We stayed in a "Cosy Double" - room 10 - we knew it would be small (and it really was) so I can't really complain about that but I have to say it wasn't very well kept. There was a horrid smell of bleach which didn't really go the whole 2 nights we were there and the furnishings felt tired and grubby - the carpet was stained and the vanity chair was so stained we actually removed it from the room. This said, we would 100% stay at the hotel again, but would choose a different room.

Nice relaxing atmosphere, staff super friendly and the room a good size making our stay, albeit short, a lovely experience. This is the 2nd time we gave stayed at St Michaels resort and we will definitely be back.

We stayed at Michaels Resort in Falmouth to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Our first room was dirty, with pubic hair in the shower, black mould on the walls, dust, stained cushions and marks all over the walls. We were shown a second room which was just as bad, then moved again, carrying all our luggage ourselves and wasting so much time that we were late for a pre-booked birthday dinner. In daylight, the third room also had pubic hair in the shower and black mould, showing this was not an isolated issue. The hotel overall felt poorly maintained, with visible dust and marks throughout. Breakfast was another let-down. On the first morning it arrived stone cold. We told the waiter, who said they would inform the manager, but there was no apology or offer of replacement. On the final morning, a very simple order took 45 minutes and again arrived cold. We were eventually moved to a much nicer room and given spa access, but it was not clearly explained when booking that spa access is not included in the room rate. At checkout, only two drinks were removed from our bill, which felt inadequate given the hygiene issues, disruption and disappointment. This was meant to be a special celebration, but the hotel fell far below expectations.
