Fantastic hotel, really nice rooms, friendly staff and good food. Parking is a bit scarce, but the on street parking at the side is very reasonably priced. All good!

unlike many other hotels that arose from a series of converted houses this hotel has made a really good job of converting an entire strip of houses. We did not have breakfast as it was way too expensive so went out to Caffe Nero around the corner. We booked graduation night for next month at the same time. Parking was difficult, despite getting a ticket from the Hotel to put onto the dashboard of the car.

Great bar, lively with great service and Hotel Staff were friendly and helpful, however NOT a great stay. The room we had was small, not a problem in itself but it was also looking a bit outdated and tired. Had the worst sleep I’ve had in a long time, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were small and also uncomfortable to sleep with. The fan noise was so loud you couldn’t use the bathroom light if someone was already asleep, we could hear the occupant of the room next door on their phone at 5.30 am and when the room above got up to shower at 6 am it felt like they were in the room with us due to the amount of noise their shower created. Bar food is good, breakfast unfortunately is just about average, didn’t bother eating second morning. Won’t be back…

All staff were really helpful and went the extra mile to provide the answers to questions or requests.
Parking was a bonus in such an urban street!
The building is quite old but is well presented and our rooms were spacious.
Food was well presented, tasty and good value!

A lovely stay. Staff were friendly and receptionist was very helpful and polite. Nice upgrade during our stay made it even more enjoyable. Room was abit dated with a few niggles that need to be updated but that did not affect our stay. Breakfast was buffet but we only realised on our last day that we could request how we wanted our eggs. Would be useful for staff to advise when seating. I would recommend staying here but note it is in a student area and bar is used by students however this was fine for us but may not be for those who prefer a quiet early night.

I think me and my partner would have stayed elsewhere had we known it was so 'student' focussed. People from outside the area really wont know that its 'two pound Tuesday' and other discounts for the younger crowd so overall this really wasnt for us

I would add a hand rail on outside car park steps. I found it a bit awkward with your luggage and a walking stick. Other than that the hotel is gorgeous.

We have just enjoyed a one night stay. We were met with a very nice and helpful welcome.
