Reception staff were great from
the time we called to the time we left. The heating had broken in the room but they got another radiator in straight away. Breakfast staff were lovely; friendly, cheerful and helpful. Fab stay.

On arrival, our room was very cold. The heating only comes on at 5pm, even in December!
The hotel lobby is bright and warm. This is very much a Student bar.
Behind scenes the rooms are a terrible. Old cobwebs high up, the curtains don’t fit the windows, too short to keep out drafts and not wide enough.
Stains everywhere, these bedrooms are a sorry state and in need of a revamp.
Food service was very slow despite only our selves in the restaurant, over half an hr , to make tea toast and lightly poach an egg! There was no hot water in the shower, was to it takes 5/10 mins to heat up. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel.

Staff were very friendly, only issue was the car parking. Small car park in which someone in a Blue Audi TT decided to create their own car parking place on the access road and block other cars in. Car was there overnight so there was plenty of opportunity for the hotel to ask the guest to move it

Room was clean, had to pay extra £30 for breakfast which wasn't worth the money, reception staff was excellent helped with door on arrival and departure from hotel, bar staff were very slow at taking our dinner order although the food was excellent
