ザ クレルモント ロンドン、チャリング クロス

2年ぶりにロンドンに訪れました。五日間の滞在は今回こちらにお世話になりました。 まず立地は完璧です。ロンドンビギナーの方でも苦労せずに、いろいろな場所へ行けます。 ホテルは古いですが、それもロンドンらしいと言えばそうかと思います。 設備も必要なものはありますし、不便はしません。歯磨き粉や歯ブラシ、化粧水やローションなどはこの価格帯のホテルですが用意されていませんのでご注意を。タオルシーツは毎日変えてくれますが、部屋の掃除機がけやほこり取りなどの掃除はしてくれません。 総合的には又泊まりたいと思いますが、安くはないのでもう少し清潔感があると良いかなと思います。

It was a super convinient locatiion to get around. The room was clean and the employees were so friendly and helpful. a walking distance to the Royal for the Nutcracker as well as the British Museum.

Anyway, it is the center of the city and convenience is the best. You can use the subway, trains, and buses, and many tourist attractions can be reached on foot. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the same every day, but it was delicious. It was a little inconvenient that only one elevator was working. Also, there was a lot of noise from the floor above. The bathroom was nice and spacious with a bathtub!

Nice hotel, good staff and right next to Charing Cross.

Good condition and great location with working AC for the hotter weather. Generous free in room sweeties and drinks. Strong shower flow and luxurious towels. Squeaky floors, neighbor door slams, and an overly powerful floral scent in the lobby were the only misses. Was offered a Starbucks for declining maid service but never got it?

Atendimento e limpeza impecáveis. Café da manhã um pouco caro, mas vale o preço. Muitas opções e tudo bem feito. Quarto e banheiro com amplo espaço. Cama gigante e muito macia. Recomendo para qualquer um

The location is very convenient. There were some issues with the room floor. It squeaks and feels like a broken pad.

I came to London with my husband to do the London Marathon. We stayed for a total of 5 nights (through 3 separate bookings). The first 3 nights we booked for twin bed room and last 2 nights we paid for king bed room. Main good thing about the hotel is the location was very convenient for the marathon. I could walk back to hotel after the finish line and the hotel is right next to Charing Cross station which is where the train goes to Blackeath (start line). I have a few unpleasant experiences with the hotel itself: 1) service/ staff attitude - as I booked different room types, I ask them to switch me to king bed room on my 4th night. The staff said I have to stay in the twin room for 5 nights .. I refused, as I paid more to stay in the king bed room .. the staff who helped me checked in then said ok and asked us to pack our bags on 4th day so they can help us switch. On the 4th day we packed our bags as instructed and went to lobby, the staff said room will be ready around 3pm.. when we went back at 3pm, they said we are going back to the same room! We kept complaining and finally they gave us a king bed room… but why do I need to even fight for it?? I paid for it and I am entitled to the room I paid for! The rooms were very noisy… first 3 nights were full of loud drunken people on the street, 4-5 nights were garbage trucks, dumpsters noises fro 4am. On the day we checked out, the cleaning lady opened the door without knocking… Not Good

Loved staying at The Clermont. Would definitely like to stay here again on our next visit to London.

Was not happy, came back to the hotel at 11:30pm, the doors were locked, with a note to ring the bell for night service. We rang the bell stood there for sometime, and nonone came, except another hotel customer who used a side door to come outside, we went in, the night staff was sitting at the desk and didnt get up when we had rang the bell. He questioned us about our door cards and told us we should of used them. The outer doors were locked and the scan pad for the door cards were inside, on the 2nd set of doors. They should of atleast gotten up after the 3 or 4th ring to see whats going on.
