ホテルのレストランがとても良かったです。朝食では魚の燻製やエッグベネディクトなど、メニューの中から好きなものを注文でき、一部セルフサービスになっているフルーツやヨーグルトなどもレベルが高く、スパイスで煮込んだ洋梨のコンポートは絶品でした。夕食もホテルのレストランをチェックイン時に予約し、魚介のグリルなどを美味しくいただきました。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切です。部屋は離れにあるラグジュアリータイプを予約、離れにあるセンスの良い部屋で落ち着いて滞在できました。

小さな町に、きらりと光るオシャレホテルです。 古いですが、きれいに改装されてて、内装・インテリアにとてもこだわっていて、おしゃれです。 まちの中心にあって、動きやすく便利。 スタッフの対応はフレンドリー。 ソフト面は至らない点が少々見受けられますが、全体としてはかなり満足できたホテルです。

The staff were all super friendly and very helpful; restaurant staff were knowledgeable too. The room was small, pretty and clean; shower and bath were great though ceiling low - it’s a historic property! Ideal location, nice to have resident’s sitting rooms and outside space. The restaurant food was superb and well priced, drinks great, breakfast excellent, coffee very good… A firmer bed and chunkier pillows, and a stretchier hairdryer cord would have made it perfect. We’d be happy to come back and stay again.

The George in Rye offers everything! Fabulous setting, lovely vibe, friendly, helpful staff & wonderful food. Congratulations on such a gem!

The breakfast menu was fresh and versatile, but an additional choice of rolls, sourdough and healthy whole meal/seed bread would be great.

Lovely hotel. Helpful staff. Right in the middle of the village so excellent location. Parking in public car park around the corner.

The staff were lovely and the food was great. We were upgraded to a superior room, which was wonderful and clean but the room was far too hot because it was next to the main working fireplace of the hotel. We had to have the window open the whole time to cool down, (but didn’t make too much difference in temperature) and then smoke from the chimney came into the room.

Lovely stay - big comfortable room, lots of spaces around the hotel and bar for lounging around on a rainy day, and right in the centre of Rye. Super friendly staff as well.

There is no parking for this hotel, my car had to be left in an open communal car park overnight, which I wasn’t happy about. The staff are very friendly & accommodating, especially the head waiter in the restaurant & the chap managing the bar. My room wasn’t vacuumed daily but bathroom was cleaned very well.

Super beautiful, amazing location, but the room was too cold to sleep. Felt like sleeping outside even fully clothed and with a blanket over the duvet. Not the hotel’s fault, but something to note if you’re coming in the winter months.

Wonderful place to stay in a wonderful town.

Room lovely but fire alarm went off at 7am as they have sensitive fire alarm and someone burnt toast, if it’s this sensitive prehaps don’t allow customers to do toast! Also the head waiter at breakfast very shouty and loud to the other servers who were working well, it was not needed and actually quite embarrassing to watch, feel sorry for the poor waiting staff
