ホテルのレストランがとても良かったです。朝食では魚の燻製やエッグベネディクトなど、メニューの中から好きなものを注文でき、一部セルフサービスになっているフルーツやヨーグルトなどもレベルが高く、スパイスで煮込んだ洋梨のコンポートは絶品でした。夕食もホテルのレストランをチェックイン時に予約し、魚介のグリルなどを美味しくいただきました。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切です。部屋は離れにあるラグジュアリータイプを予約、離れにあるセンスの良い部屋で落ち着いて滞在できました。

小さな町に、きらりと光るオシャレホテルです。 古いですが、きれいに改装されてて、内装・インテリアにとてもこだわっていて、おしゃれです。 まちの中心にあって、動きやすく便利。 スタッフの対応はフレンドリー。 ソフト面は至らない点が少々見受けられますが、全体としてはかなり満足できたホテルです。

Beautiful accommodation. Very cosy place to stay. Nice bar and restaurant. Good breakfast. No parking on site but able to park a short walk away. Good central location.

Terrible experience, wouldn’t recommend. Have emailed twice to follow up but nothing back from the hotel. Not what I expected

A lovely old building.

The George hotel in Rye offers a charming stay with a central location and helpful staff. The comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast were definite highlights. Its bar is also great, boasting a fantastic atmosphere. However, our (entry level) room was a little on the small side. Despite the cozy quarters, the hotel provides a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Great location and really helpful staff. We were offered a free upgrade to a beautiful room which made it special. The breakfast was lovely although I would have preferred freshly made coffee from a pot rather than from a machine operated via an iPad - but that is personal preference. Everything was great - but that it reflected in the price.

Friendly and convenient property located in the heart of historic Rye. Staff is very attentive and the place itself is quite pleasant.

The only minus was car parking. Might the hotel negociate a parking voucher for a nearby car park?

Room was lovely but really needs aircon and the bathroom had good water pressure and a lovely bath. Service was generally sketchy but Harry on reception was excellent, efficient and seriously on the ball. The food was very good. We had a great stay but felt there was a real lack of attention to detail for the price point. The mens loos stank!

Easy check in process. We were walked to our room and everything explained to us. Room was well decorated and clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Bottled water too. As it was warm we had the windows open therefore there was some noise from the courtyard and street. This was quiet between 11pm and 7am (Sunday night). Great quality breakfast with friendly staff. Continental pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurt, etc. Hot menu options also available. Easy check out process. Would recommend.

Great breakfast, good choice of food and cooked to order, so hot / fresh. Welcoming and helpful staff, both at breakfast and on reception. Good tea / coffee facilities in the room. Powerful / hot shower and comfortable bed. The room had character. No lift, so be aware if you have mobility issues.

Parking is an issue, but this is the finest hotel in Wessex!

Great location ! Rooms very nice. Great breakfast. Bar area quite small for the size of the hotel, but a lovely little courtyard to have a drink in if the weather is nice.

Quirky hotel in a great position. Comfortable room well furnished. Had a disappointing meal our first night. My quite expensive steak was incinerated and for the price I would have expected more than a few chips as a garnish.

There were spiderwebs in the lamp. Next to the bathtub it was really dirty. The room Was a superior double but was really small, with a tini wardrobe. Considering the price, it was disappointing. The food was lovely though.

Lovely room with a very comfortable bed and wonderful food. The bar area was also very comfortable.

We were there for one night, room and bed were comfortable, only issue is that like many UK hotels there is no air conditioning so the room is hot at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options.
