Great location, lovely room great breakfast and helpful staff. Really couldn’t fault it

Breakfast was good, friendly , helpful staff. Restaurant was excellent. Rooms are nice and clean, comfortable. Only down side was the hen party running between rooms with no consideration of other residents.

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a room only booking, the breakfast both quality and service on bothmornings was appalling. Don’t pay on a rate that includes breakfast. It is not worth it.

Always excellent place to stay

Rummet är både vackert och bekvämt… men renligheten är inte där… inte 100% tyvärr.

Totally charming old inn, right in the center of town. Small but nicely appointed room with USB & USB-C sockets. Restaurant and lounge excellent and ALL personnel were great.

Brendan on reception was very welcoming on arrival and helpful. Even took our luggage to our room before we returned after we left it with him on arrival.Junior suite room was clean and spacious although could have done without all the pretend doves perched around the room.Bed was pretty uncomfortable and pillows were feather and too soft. The hotel is alledgedly famed for it's breakfast which is definitely no different to what one would expect at any hotel. What never ceases to amaze is the fact that guests are expected to queue up to use two toasters whilst their meal is getting cold. Additionally you have to use a computer screen to make your own tea & coffee. Who can be bothered? Hotel is advertised as having parking available. What is not mentioned is that the parking is in an unmanned regular town carpark which is a 10 minute walk away, so you must either carry your luggage up hill back to the hotel or park on double yellow lines outside the hotel as we did to unload first, then take the car to the car park and then make your way back.It's really not worth the effort.Many better hotels available.

Not sure it’s worth the price tag. Nice clean hotel but average in terms of quality. Rooms are very noisy at all times, absolutely no sound proof at all, can hear your neighbours speak. The breakfast was nice and the restaurant manager seemed to really love his job which was good to see.m mmmm food

continental breakfast should have more variety eg. yogurts, cold meats, cheeses, croissants. coffee should be made fresh not from machine. room lovely. More staff needed in restaurant.

Tolle Unterkunft, grosse Frühstücksauswahl, bequeme Betten und grosszügige Zimmer. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Very good hotel

Den beste hotellopplevelsen jeg har hatt i England hittil. Serviceinnstilt og vennlig personal både i resepsjon, bar, restaurant og housekeeping. Romslig og rent rom. Noe svartmugg på badet, men det må man regne med i gammel bygning med kun naturlig ventilasjon. Savnet kanskje et lite kjøleskap på rommet. Ellers gode fasiliteter, badekar og god seng. Fin utsikt til bakgård. Super beliggenhet. Rask innsjekk, ble fulgt opp til det hyggelige rommet mitt hvor klassisk musikk på radioen var i full gang. Herlig atmosfære. Veldig lytt, og man hører andre gjester, men det spiller ingen rolle for meg. Vakkert interiør og hyggelige loungeområder. Tusen takk for denne gang! Jeg kommer garantert tilbake.
